It is so hard to find training wheels that can keep the bike from falling over. These wheels are great. Those little wheels you get with most bikes don't support the weight of an 8 year old, and it is too easy to fall over. I feel that the bike is safe. I liked from the start, but when we tried to instal on the bike it didn't work. And I had to send back, because those wheels are just for BMX. My son need those or some similar wheels(probably around 26'') for riding bike(mountain). I send them yestrday back to Amazon. Probably you will receive them next week. We ordered this kit to outfit a bike for my son with autism's birthday. We paid for 2nd day shipping and the item arrived on time, but was missing the 2 extra long u-bolts needed to put the kit together. Calls to the company have gone unreturned to date (6 days later), The product performance is OK, but the price is too high. We were also unable to get the kit to completely stabilize the bike upon assembly and adjustment, it continued to be a bit too high, causing the bike to wobble back and forth, scaring my son. It is disappointing that a company that manufactures a product that it positions for the special needs community will not even take the time to return customer service calls from their target audience. And of course, with the difficulty of installation and the modifications that we had to make to be able to deliver the item to him assembled on his birthday due to the missing parts, we are not going to disassemble and return the product. My advice is to choose something else. :(

The Wheel Kit is solidly constructed and is fairly easy to install. Although it is somewhat expensive, it is definitely made of superior materials. I bought this for my grandson who is himself "solidly constructed," and the Stabilizer worked very well in keeping him going. I would recommend it highly.

I've had these lights for about 6 months now. For a cheap set of bike lights, I am impressed with the quality. The headlight puts out enough light to safely bike at slow to moderate speeds. It's probably not quite bright enough to actually use as a road cycling headlight. They are definitely big and bright enough to be noticeable by cars. The headlight has a solid beam mode and a strobe mode. The tail light has a solid beam, strobe, and alternating mode. Each run off of three LEDs. The headlight takes 4 AAA batteries (based on reading the specs--I didn't actually open it to check) and the tail light takes 2 AAA batteries. All batteries are included. I frequently take the headlight off my bike and use it as a normal flashlight, of which it does a superb job. I can't really estimate how many hours of use the lights have had, but I haven't had to replace the batteries yet, and the light doesn't seem to be dimming at all.

Having said that, I do not like the mounting system. I'm not convinced it will hold up over time because the whole thing is made out of plastic and I can easily imagine it wearing out to the point of not being able to hold the light on after considerable use. It is also difficult to secure the headlight mount tight enough onto the bike to prevent the light from tilting off center after hitting bumps. One piece of advice: if you buy these, make sure the headlight clicks into place on the mounting bracket each time you attach it. I did not realize this and as a result, the light fell off and broke an internal plastic piece that holds the front and back portions of the light together. I used tape to secure the connection again and it somehow still works. I don't think I can really blame this incident on the mounting system, but it's easy to think the light is properly secured when it's not.

Overall, I'm very pleased with these lights and would recommend them.

I got this light less than a month ago for commuting home from work. I ride about 7.5 miles round trip and work 2nd shift so it's dark on the ride home. I work in the suburbs and ride on a fairly quiet street. But, at 12:30am their are a couple of half mile stretches with no street lights and very little ambient light from houses, etc. This isn't car headlight bright but it does the job for what I need. Last weekend I rode into the Minneapolis and went to a concert, when I got out and hooked the light back on the bracket I dropped it from handlebar height to the asphalt and it came apart. After that fall it only worked about 30% of the time on a long ride home. I called Blackburn yesterday and they just asked for my name and shipping address and are sending me out a replacement. I was amazed I was trying to find out if I lost an O ring or some connection wasn't working. No questions asked no excuses they said a replacement will be in my hands within a week.

It's nice to know someone still stands behind their products.

These lights are everything you need for night riding. The headlamp actually diverts light on the sides so you can see not only what is ahead of you, but you see the road on each side of your tires as well. Batteries are changed easily and take a long while before they die out. After four months I haven't been hit yet, so the taillight must be doing its job!

What I love most about these lights is the mounting system. It's quick, easy, and secure. It's also pretty easy to remove/reattach the lights for parking.

The tail light is great. Couldn't ask for anything more. The headlight is plenty bright for what need. Naturally it isn't going to act like car headlights, but it really does help. If there are streetlights, you probably won't be able to really see the headlight's path, but if you actually NEED to see at night, it definitely pulls through.

I have 650C wheels on my Tri-Bike and run tubes and road tires. In a pinch I can run 26" tubes but most of them have valves that are way too short and they running a 26" tube is an exercise in packing the excess tube into place :)

These are designed for 650C wheels, they work perfectly with my Mavic wheels and 650Cx23 tires.

The front tire has one of these tubes and I have had no problem with it in the last couple of hundred miles.

I've just ordered a couple more and will order additional sizes for my other bikes.

I searched the internet for any reviews of this product I could find. The reviews I found were far and few between with virtually no negative or slightly negative reveiws. I purchased this bike for the comfort of riding. I really like the style and comfort of the bike and found it easy to pedal and navigate. I requested to return the item after riding it for the second time(I rode the bike for a toal of 15 minutes both times combined). I found the speed of the bike entirely too slow (maybe 5 mph top speed). The bike would not climb the two foot hill from the street up my driveway without the front tire slipping on the concrete (center of gravity is well to back of the bike). In my opinion the manufacturer should consider adding a gear to the front wheel similar to the 3 speed hub gears now found on 2 wheel cruisers. I would not recommend buying this bike if you want if for adult use, exercise or short trips.

I bought this bike for my son who has ADD since he would have difficulty paying attention and riding at the same time. It is working out very well and I would recommend it. He loves to ride it and now he can go riding with the whole family. Keep in mind that it does not have gears so it will not go as fast as a standard bike which I find to be a plus. Remember to tighten all screws, even on parts that are pre-assembled, after riding as this is not entirely welded but rather bolted together.

As a professional dog walker, I was looking for a better way to exercise dogs. I purchased a Mobo Shift two years ago and used it to exercise my dog and a few of my customers dogs. One of my customers was requesting a Mobo run for her dog at least once a week so after a year, I finally sold her my old one and now I am on my second Mobo Shift. It's not for long distance biking or steep hills but it is just perfect for neighbor riding and shorter distances on asphalt or concrete roads. I usually do 5 or 6 miles a day with my dog (weather permitting) and he is never happier than when he is running along side.....unless he's eating that is.

The Mobo comes with a pictured chart for assembly. I put both of mine together, It only takes about 1/2 hour and I double check to make sure everything is tight before we go 'moboing'. I got a Telescopic Safety Flag because the flag that comes with it is not bright enough for my satisfaction. I also use two Bike Peddler Take A Look Cycling Eyeglass Mirrors, one on each side of my sunglasses to ensure that I know exactly what is behind me at all times. I have attached a Delta Airzound Bike Horn just in case some one backs out of their driveway, etc. I always hang a canteen of water over the back with a Popware for Pets Travel Cup for Garrett too and, of course, I have a speaker and mp3 player for my favorite tunes....all that is left is to enjoy.

I have run 2 sets of the Detonators. First set had zero problems but one tire of the second set started to split in numerous places around the tire. The separation happens between the black traction band and the colored side walls. Some separations were over 1 1/2" in length and the tire cords were exposed. This happened with just 200 miles on them.

It's a great tire and very fast, it just didn't hold up though. I got about 700 miles on it before the sidewalls started to slip a bit. Still it held the road very well and is very light.

When I first started riding again I bought the self sealing tubes from target and kmart, which lasted about 2 weeks max for simple trips. Then I got these tubes. They last anywhere from 2 months a year and a half with moderate use. They work better paired with tire liners (Mr. Tuffy Bicycle Tire Liner); as I had with 26" tires. However, they also worked for over six months on a 27" hybrid bike tire without the liner; with medium use, contacting glass and goatshead thorns regularly. The liner serves two purposes: to protect the tube and to make up for the amount of effort it takes to pump these up to fill in the tube to the right amount of pressure. One thing to note for beginners: is they lose air naturally over time, if they lose alot over a short period of time (24 hours or less) buy a new one, if it is only a little over a long period of time, keep the pressure up. I apologize that I haven't had a significant amount of time with my 24" tires, but after this first week they still seem great. Plus, 24" tubes are hard to find anyway, since no one manufactures 24" rims anymore. All the more reason to buy something that lasts!

I ordered these for my 8 year old. She loves them and they are very well made. They are right on target for the size. The shoe laces are very long so you have to tie them so that they don't get in the wheels. They are very cute and are geat fun.

I got these for my 8 year old daughter. She will NOT take them off!!

She loves them but I think they could be made a bit better.

The material is a bit flimsy, not as thick as a shoe would be.

The tongues of the skates dont stay in place, that annoys me but my daughter does not seem to mind that I have to untie and fix the tongue and retie the skate about every 5 minutes.

She is a beginner skater and these seem to be doing alright for her, so they are a good starter pair. If they were a bit more thick for extra support these would be close to great.

SIZING:

My daughter wears a girls size 2 SHOE. I ordered a size 3 SKATE because that is what she wore at the roller rink when she rented skates. They are a bit big on her, but almost perfect fit with two pairs of socks on. So the sizing is NOT right on the dot, it might be hard for you to decide on a size, sorry!

Just received these skates and there is a warning sticker on the box stating that they contain a know cancer causing chemical also with a birth defect warning. REALLY??? I never would have purchased these skates knowing that. And I certainly won't be giving them as the intended Christmas present. This fact should have been stated in the description. This trike is a must for 2 year olds. It is durable yet light weight if I have to move it. The tires are real rubber, not cheap plastic, so the traction is great. My son tools around the house on this trike on my hard wood floors without a problem, and I dont have to worry that he is scratching the floors because of the real rubber tires. My son can actually reach the petals, not like some out there. The sound features are awesome!~Not like some annoying of the sounds and music that some bikes or big wheels have. Real directionals that work and no annoying horn to beep. I love this trike and have recommended this to everyone I know who has children. I think the price is great also!

VERY NICE ITEM, excellently designed, easy to use, strong and well made, however... it will NOT fit a Honda Element because its wider than the wheel wells and you won't get it even near your tire. It DOES fit my Ford Ranger, however that is not the truck I bought it for. Sure wish they were more exact on what models it fits.

My 6 year old son got them this summer, he's been happy and I think they are very good. The only thing I would recomend is to order one size up, I did because somehow I stumbled upon this site with a chart that gave instructions on how to order for different brands depending on your street shoe size, I was hesitant buy I'm glad that I ordered one size up.

I bought these skates for my 8-year-old for Christmas. He LOVES them and skates every day. They seem to be very sturdy and the wheels aren't too fast since he is still a beginner. My only issue is that the toe stop seems a little chintzy and will probably wear out rather quickly, but that can easily be replaced. I'm sure the skates on the whole will last until he grows out of them, which will be too quickly for sure. I shopped a lot and thought these were a great deal for the money and I'm not disappointed.

Onguard Akita Key Cable Lock Reviews

The old joke is that "All bikes weight 50 pounds: a 10 pound bike needs a forty pound lock, a 40 pound bike needs a 10 pound lock, and a 50 pound bike doesn't need a lock."

I own a forty pound bike an old 10 speed that one bike store hipster called a "frankenbike." I ride my frankenbike all over the place and it works great. I need to lock it up and I'd prefer to use a long cable lock to ensure no one steals a tire, which I can't do with a ulock (either front or back tire is unlocked with that system). Put another way, the tires on this bike are worth more than the bike!

This cable lock is perfect as a discouragement for casual/opportunistic thieves around town. And since my bike is ugly, chipped and old, I just have to park near a nice bike to protect it against determined and professional thieves! I've been using a cable lock as the sole protection for my bike for 20 years, and I still have the same bike.

So if you need to lightly protect your street cruiser, this cable lock should do the job. It won't stop anyone intent on taking a valuable bike for sure.

Also, this lock has a couple of nice features:

1) It's about 6 feet long so plenty long enough to lock up to most urban/sidewalk trees.

2) It's 12mm thick cable so a little better than 10mm or 6mm cables

3) It has a weather plug so in inclement weather you can keep water out of the key hole

4) It comes with 4 or 5 keys so I don't have to worry about losing a key (or getting back up copies)

4a) The keys are pretty custom looking so don't expect to get copies made easily (that's a minus)

5) The lock mechanism itself is "positive" it locks cleanly and it unlocks easily no sticky key or turning problems. (I've had these problems with some newer kryptonite cable locks)

Have been using this lock with my bicycle for a few days now and it's been fine.

Locking mechanism seems secure and does not stick.

Came with 5 laser-cut keys which I thought was generous.

There is a little slider which covers the key-hole for when you're not using it I think that's to prevent dirt, dust and rain, which is a nice feature (although I doubt it's 100% waterproof).

Cable is reasonably thick and covered well, as expected.

Only imperfection would be that because it's not spiralled like most lock cables, you have to make a bit of an effort to wind it around your bike; otherwise if you just loop it once when locking up your bike, the ring that the cable makes is rather unnecessarily large (with a 120cm cable length). This would be considered a positive feature if your bike is positioned far away from what you're chaining it to.

I do not yet have any feedback regarding long-term use. However, I am currently very happy with this purchase.

Whether your bike tires use schrader or presta valves, this bike pump is very easy to use. The night it arrived, I immediately pumped up the tires in both of my bikes to 60psi and barely broke a sweat. The pressure guage that is attached to the frame is the ultimate in convenience. It is really nice to get the immediate feedback from the guage on just how much air is in those tires. I have even used this pump to add a bit of air into my car's tires--it's just that easy to use. I highly recommend this pump.

Wow. No screwing around here. This pump is the top of the line. Easily inflated my 700 x 23 tires to 100 psi with no pressure leaks. Has a large, easy to read dial guage and a bleed-valve to get your pressure exact. SmartHead is awesome no more stupid adapters for my Presta valves (which contributed to leaks while inflating with other pumps.) Its heavy, it's chrome, it's solid. I love this thing. Worth every penny.
