Quality all around. Perfect bag for cycling and short hikes. It has a 5"x7" zippered mesh internal compartment great for cellphone, keys, and maybe a few other odds and ends. No real storage space when bladder is compressed, but I bought it for it's small profile. Soft bite valve with on and off capabilities. There are a magnets on the shoulder straps and one looped on the tube helping to keep it against the shoulder strap. It worked really well while cycling, but not so much while hiking. Probably because I'm a big guy with big arms;).

The Petite Consumer Says: If you are a family with an active lifestyle, the Joovy CocoonX2 may very well be the greatest thing since sliced bread. Not only is it a durable, all-season, double stroller, jogger, and bicycle trailer in one, but it looks cool!

I was totally on the fence about this stroller. My wife (in her infinite wisdom) decided this was the one she HAD to have. A couple of reviews later and we ordered it. This thing is awesome, incredibly awesome. It handled snow, potholes, and city streets with ease. The running wheel attachment made it awesome. It's huge and it's heavy, but my twins love it, my wife loves it, and I love it. I also contacted Joovy for some customer service and they were bang on helpful and polite. I'd strongly recommend this stroller to anyone with twins or two kids or one kid and a dog or two dogs or just anyone who loves strollers.

I admit, it is a lot of money. Especially when you add the jogging wheel, like we did. But totally worth it. The kids LOVE this thing. I love that I can zip them up with a blanket and keep them warm and avoid chapped cheeks in the cold weather. I love that you can zip them up with a toy (drink, snack, etc) in any weather and not have to stop on a jog to pick up a thrown / dropped item. They stay entertained in there and everyone has a nice run. We got the "Greenie" color, love it. Easy to push 60 pounds (2 passengers), I don't think it would be a problem to go higher, just haven't tried it. The down side: it is large (but still gets through doorways) and will fold flat, but still takes up a good bit of space. The back of our SUV is full with this + a 55 pound dog. I think this would be the case with any double jogging stroller. Or any double stroller for that matter (this is the only one we have it serves 2 purposes). Joovy customer service is AMAZING, really I can't say enough. When we first got the jogging attachment the stroller pulled to the left. Turns out I didn't have the proper tire pressures. Also had a leak in the Jogging wheel they sent a new one! This replaced our Joovy Zoom 360 (the best single jogger, in my opinion) I think this brand is amazing!! Highly recommended.

Honest reviews on Joovy Cocoonx2 Enclosed Double Stroller Black

um first i LOVE this stroller.

recently my husband and i had to tote our two little ones and a whole lot of luggage through the airport. we laughed as we were going through because he was pushing the stroller with one hand (which was holding the kids, their toys, and all our carry on items)and holding a coffee in the other. (to say the least this stroller is WAY easy to push) i was carrying nothing. (it holds a LOT of stuff) AMAZING.

okay. so the pros (and the things that make you think, i don't know if there are really any big cons)

1) is rides soooo smoothly. two kids. tons of luggage in the back pocket. still a one handed push stroller that turns very VERY easily. Really love that it has REAL wheels, and not stroller wheels

2) luggage room. we fit a large purse, a small laptop bag, and several toys and stuffed animals in baggage compartment in the back. plus, there is ample room for additional toys in the front, sitting with the kids

3) the wind cover this really does keep the kids warm. i like too that they don't have to be in such heavy coats, i can just cover them with a blanket and they stay much warmer inside/ the bug cover is great too. i don't know how many walks i've gone out in the summer only to be continually batting mosquitoes away from my little ones face and body. problem solved with this.

4) another reviewer mentioned toys, sippy cups, stuffed animals, can't be thrown out.

5) the parking breaks are easy to put on and off with your foot and keep the stroller secure

6) set up was easy ... even with kids circling around, we got it set up pretty quickly. And my almost 3 year old was THRILLED with the stroller and wanted to get in right away.

7) Windows and Visibility are wonderful for the kids. Mine both are always looking all around and seem to love the comfort of it

8) My average sized almost 3 year old sits in here and looks to have PLENTY of room. We also have a 5 month old who is able to sit up, and she did fine in here next to him. With both of them in there, it looked as if you could have still fit another kid on the floor or in the bench. I wouldn't try it, but just saying this to say ... there is quite a bit of "room to grow" within the "cocoon"

9) Reflectors, A flag, a jogging pull handle ... all included for easy and safer night excursions

10) The Jogger attachment, Bike hook attachment, and storage compartment (for drinks and keys and things) are all available for extra. I wish these were a little cheaper, but am thrilled that Joovy Cocoonx2 is made to be able to accommodate all of these, another way it can grow with the family

I could go on and on ... but a few things to consider. Not sure if they are major "cons", but things to consider. These weren't a deal breaker for us

1) Its big. I have single, average size doors at my house and I cannot get the stroller through without closing it. I solve this by storing it in the van/or our garden shed. It does just barely go through the single door at our library. So if you have wider doors, it will probably work

2) Even when folded, its still big. You can remove the wheels pretty easily, but I still don't chose to to this so its big. It collapses down, but doesn't get any smaller than that.

3) Your kids need to both be able to sit up on their own for this to work. There is really no "recline" on the seats. My "supported" sitter did okay with being propped up with a couple of blankets, but Joovy recommends 6 months and older (12 months to use the Bike trailer), and that is probably the safest.

4) The seats are more or less a "bench seat" There is no divider between the two seats. This hasn't been a problem for us, but perhaps for older kids if they are prone to fighting. I think my two are just so thrilled to be in the stroller and outside, that it works great for us, and they seem to love that they are so close together ... But could be a problem for some

Additional Notes:

This isn't really a con, more just a note I wish I knew when I was setting it up. When you are pulling out the inside bar to lock it in place (or pushing it back) you have to pull REALLY hard. At first I thought I had received a faulty stroller, but I didn't realize you have to PULL really HARD. Eventually you hear a snap. I was afraid to pull that hard because I thought something would break, I didn't realize you HAVE to pull that hard to get it to snap into place. Its similar when pushing the set up down.

Overall, this is really a great stroller. I got it at a great price after reading many many reviews. Everywhere we go, people ask questions and seem so interested and impressed with it. My husband too loves the ease of use. I wish it were just a tad smaller, but at the same time love that there is so much storage space and that it has room for my kids to grow. It is a solid stroller, but the cocoon concept make it kind of unique and extra fun and snuggly for the kids. Plus I really love the versatility of it. This is an all in one active lifestyle active family stroller ... and we love it :)

Edit: 3 month later. Still love the stroller. Found it is easier to lock in place if you have both wheels locked first, though it is still harder than I would like. It does collapse very easily though. I found I can BARELY fit it through my front door. Still 5 stars.

The jogger did not fit my tall 5 year old and 9 month old in it well. My 9 month old kept falling over into the 5 year old and they both hated it. It was stuffy inside even without the rain cover. I think this jogger would work best for a combination of 2 and 3 year olds or for 1 child. They also have to sit up very erect and it did not look comfortable.

On the positive side, even though I had to return it, it was very easy to assemble and looked to be made of quality construction.

Maxxis detonador is one of those tires you can use for training and you won't need to change it for a weekend race.

Very good puncture resistaince and very nice roling.

After so many years triyng tires I can said this ones are one of favorites.

I have used detonators with great success. Excellent tire that is able to stand up to the punishing roads of Oahu. Tires before suffered from punctures everyday.

I do not recommend the white sidewall. I pumped it up to 120 psi and possibly had too much stuff in my backpack. I commute to work. First use and first tire to blow a sidewall on me. Scared the heck out of the people next to me in an amazing explosion. I was able to laugh about it later.

I am still ordering these tires but i am sticking to the regular sidewall and the newer versions of these tires. I give the tire 1 star because of the experience, but would rate the detonators 5 stars.

I have about 1k miles on the tires and have no complaints. they seem to hold up nicely on pretty beaten roads I ride. Minimal flats; I think I have only had 2-3 since switching. (Normally >8 flats/1k mile) The rear tire has just began to show any significant signs of wear.

Honest reviews on Maxxis Detonator 28" Road Bike Tyre 28 Zoll, Kevlar white/black

These tires were stock on my hybrid bike. They ride okay, are fairly smooth and fast, and still provide the necessary grip to bestow confidence in just about all situations (except snow and ice, of course). In the three months that I had these tires on my bike, I had numerous flats even though I ride on designated and well-maintained bike paths. I average about 120-150 miles a week and with the Detonators, it seemed that almost not a single week went by without a flat.

Last week, I went on a 25 mile ride and incurred two flats on the same ride. That was my breaking point and I finally purchased a different set of tires. The Detonators are quite annoying if you dislike having flats in the middle of nowhere several times a month.

Got some Maxxis detonators March 2010. I have about 1200-1300 miles on a set and they pooped out on me. I ride about 150-200 miles/week I've been cycling since I was 11 (did RAGBRAI on an old schwinn crisscross) and while I am not a certified mechanic, I know a fair amount about equipment. My LBS suggested these tires to me when in a pinch for some new ones. They did ok, but I have burned through a couple of patch kits. Right out of the gate I was getting flats. The latest nightmare happened while on my first 300 km brevet this past weekend. 5 flats. That really hurt considering I was trying to just finish, let alone stop and fix flats.

Either way, I'm going a different direction with my tires. The colors were fun and entertaining, the tires look good and perform well on smooth, debris free roads (what tire doesn't, and what road is free of debris?). But, I am going the way of practicality from now on and ordered me up some marathon +'s. I can't fix a flat every couple hundred miles, despite getting really good at changing tubes with these tires.

I've had these lights for about 6 months now. For a cheap set of bike lights, I am impressed with the quality. The headlight puts out enough light to safely bike at slow to moderate speeds. It's probably not quite bright enough to actually use as a road cycling headlight. They are definitely big and bright enough to be noticeable by cars. The headlight has a solid beam mode and a strobe mode. The tail light has a solid beam, strobe, and alternating mode. Each run off of three LEDs. The headlight takes 4 AAA batteries (based on reading the specs--I didn't actually open it to check) and the tail light takes 2 AAA batteries. All batteries are included. I frequently take the headlight off my bike and use it as a normal flashlight, of which it does a superb job. I can't really estimate how many hours of use the lights have had, but I haven't had to replace the batteries yet, and the light doesn't seem to be dimming at all.

Having said that, I do not like the mounting system. I'm not convinced it will hold up over time because the whole thing is made out of plastic and I can easily imagine it wearing out to the point of not being able to hold the light on after considerable use. It is also difficult to secure the headlight mount tight enough onto the bike to prevent the light from tilting off center after hitting bumps. One piece of advice: if you buy these, make sure the headlight clicks into place on the mounting bracket each time you attach it. I did not realize this and as a result, the light fell off and broke an internal plastic piece that holds the front and back portions of the light together. I used tape to secure the connection again and it somehow still works. I don't think I can really blame this incident on the mounting system, but it's easy to think the light is properly secured when it's not.

Overall, I'm very pleased with these lights and would recommend them.

I got this light less than a month ago for commuting home from work. I ride about 7.5 miles round trip and work 2nd shift so it's dark on the ride home. I work in the suburbs and ride on a fairly quiet street. But, at 12:30am their are a couple of half mile stretches with no street lights and very little ambient light from houses, etc. This isn't car headlight bright but it does the job for what I need. Last weekend I rode into the Minneapolis and went to a concert, when I got out and hooked the light back on the bracket I dropped it from handlebar height to the asphalt and it came apart. After that fall it only worked about 30% of the time on a long ride home. I called Blackburn yesterday and they just asked for my name and shipping address and are sending me out a replacement. I was amazed I was trying to find out if I lost an O ring or some connection wasn't working. No questions asked no excuses they said a replacement will be in my hands within a week.

It's nice to know someone still stands behind their products.

These lights are everything you need for night riding. The headlamp actually diverts light on the sides so you can see not only what is ahead of you, but you see the road on each side of your tires as well. Batteries are changed easily and take a long while before they die out. After four months I haven't been hit yet, so the taillight must be doing its job!

Honest reviews on Blackburn Voyager 3.3 Front and Mars 1.0 Rear Light Combo

This is a excellent light set for the price. easy to install and operate. Light is very bright and the best part is it comes with batteries installed. How can you beat that buy it, get it, install it and use it!

See and be seen. Quality, value and a lifetime warranty. You can't beat that!

What I love most about these lights is the mounting system. It's quick, easy, and secure. It's also pretty easy to remove/reattach the lights for parking.

The tail light is great. Couldn't ask for anything more. The headlight is plenty bright for what need. Naturally it isn't going to act like car headlights, but it really does help. If there are streetlights, you probably won't be able to really see the headlight's path, but if you actually NEED to see at night, it definitely pulls through.

We had purchased this same bike over 4 years ago and it is still going strong. My four boys have ridden this trike over and over and sometimes even fight over it. My youngest, age 2 1/2 can manuever it quite easily as the seat is adjustable. I recommend the seat to be placed high for the little ones as they can reach the pedals much easier. Even my 9 year old still wants to ride from time to time. (He is the typical size for 9 years)I agree that the bike is a bit heavy, and one of my boys struggled with that for a little bit but he's mastered it now. This is a very durable bike which has outlasted any plastic ride-on toy that we've ever owned! So I'm now purchasing one for my nephew. Oh, and before I forget, there is also a wagon attachment that may be purchased seperately which can haul just about anything your child desires.

We first got it for my 3year old daughter. It then was used by my next daughter and now my son. Awesome trike! Pump the tires up and let them go. across the yard, off curbs you name it. Currenty my 2 1/2 year old son rides it and nothing stops him. The trike stands up to anything, even being partially run over with the car. Only down side is that may kids can go so fast on it (even two year old) it should have brakes beyond them putting their feet down. When my daughters were about 5 they could give me a ride when I stood on the back (level driveway).

I purchased the John Deere-Mighty Trike as a replacement tricycle for my 3 year old granddaughter. Upon arrival, the two of us assembled the Mighty Trike. The instructions are simple and very easy to follow. Problem No. 1 The tires required air inflation after assembly. This was solved with a bicycle pump. Problem No. 2 The handlebar design, although strong, needs an additional pin or screw to keep the handlebar upright as pictured. I drilled an additional hole above the assembly bolt and installed a No. 8 machine screw and elastic stop-nut. Now our Mighty Trike lives up to its name and is built like a rock.

Honest reviews on Ertl John Deere Mighty Trike

My 3 year old received this for his birthday in August. He loves it!!! My husband and I liked it more at the beginning but each time a peddle falls off, we get a little bit more aggravated with it. We have had to put the peddles back on this bike at least 10 times in 2 1/2 months. It would be more enjoyable if it was made a little bit better.
