Ran with the InStep Flash for the first time today. We had the InStep Run Around LTD for a while, sent it back under warranty and they replaced it with the Flash. My husband and I both run 2-3 times a week with our 18 month old, avg of 3-5 miles per run.

Pros:

Attractive orange and gray look great.

Folding very easy folding mechanism, much easier than the old model.

Storage basket very deep and roomy, holds lots of items securely.

Padded seat not actually very "padded" still feels hard, but better than nothing.

Sturdy seems overall stronger and more sturdy than previous model.

Cons:

Handle height I am 5'2" and found the handle to be too high for my comfort. I didn't have as much leverage to make turns, which made steering more difficult. Also, the handle is hard plastic (not cushioned foam), which with sweaty hands, can be uncomfortable and difficult to grip.

No shocks The Flash has no rear shocks, which I feel made for a smoother ride and easier turning with the Run Around.

Bulky can't really specify here, other than to say for a short person, it just felt cumbersome to maneuver/fold/attach and the remove wheels.

Folding takes some practice to get the hang of it. The storage basket needs to collapse a certain way in order for the stroller to fold correctly. Also, the seat back needs to be in the flat/reclined position.

Also worth mentioning I drive a Corolla and was able to fit the stroller in my trunk with the rear wheels removed (which is easy to do). Also, the stroller may veer a bit to one side or the other, but a quick adjustment to the front wheel will help that (though repeated adjustments may be necessary). The manual gives instructions for adjusting the front brake, which I did adjust slightly. It was a little tricky, but doable. The brakes are a little squeaky but do work well.

Overall, this feels like a decent quality, solid jogging stroller (as far as "budget" joggers go). It's not terribly comfortable to run with, but it's probably reasonable for shorter runs (2-4 miles). As long as my child is happy (which he was), I can live with it. For the price, I think it's a good deal.

I love the look, the color, the style but every time I'd take it out for a jog with my 1 year old, it kept pulling more and more to the left. I've emailed the manfacturer hoping for some advice, still haven't heard back. Disappointed that I spent my hard earned money on this....

Best Deals for InStep Flash Fixed Wheel Jogger

We had to return it because it steered to the left substantially....so much so that the hand brake could not engage properly. The front wheel was fairly bent...not sure if it shipped that way or was damaged in shipping!

This is a great baby stroller. Assembly was easy, even for me. Checked the price of the stroller with different sellers a d this one was cheapest of them all. Most of all ... My granddaughter loves it!

bought this bike last summer for my then 2 year old, she was able to use it right away. Easy to assemble and very good quality. It went through a whole year, and she is still using it now and she is 3 1/2, and 39 inches tall. All we had to do was raise her seat. This bike has been left out in the rain, and is still great. I am now going to order another one of these for our youngest daughter to ride.

My daughter is 4 and this bike is a bit small for her, but within 1 day she has learned to balance quite well and she can "scoot" along for 20' without using her feet. Transitioning to a larger bike without training wheels will be a snap. The seat has several height settings, so any child under 42 inches should have no problem. I wish I had started her on this bike when she was 3. The color is what sold me on the bike. My daughter LOVES anything pink! It's a home run!

OK no I didn't ride the bike myself because it would be in a pile of wood right now but my daughter kept complaining about the comfort. When I looked at it, sure enough the seat looks as though it would be painful. Not much padding and perhaps too wide? Anyway everything else is great which is why 4 stars.

Honest reviews on Bubbleicious Balance Bike

This bike, like others of its kind (boys may prefer another color... ;-) ), is great for kids learning to bike: It allows them to learn to keep their balance without having to worry about pedaling. Our just-5 years old is having great fun with it and I am confident she will move on to a real bike next year.

I do NOT own this product.

But here's the thing....tire sizing is not universal. Old three speed bikes used the "26 x 1 3/8" size, while modern 26 in tires use a decimal format (i.e. 26 x 1.9). These are not interchangeable. The former is about 19mm larger than the latter.

Don't ask me why, just stop complaining about it.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

I purchased the tire. It is an OK tire.

It IS the size it says it is. YES it REALLY is.

If you were to do some research, you would find that there were actually FIVE different 26" tires. READ the sidewall of your current tire. If the size isn't the same (exactly the same, not mathematically equivelent) then you can NOT be sure it is the correct tire. A 26 1 3/8 is NOT the same as 26 x 1.375. If you don't like that, tough. The bike industry evolved over many decades. Some of us have vintage bikes that require this old size (which was a staple in the 70's and 80's) so I am GLAD it is still available.

If anything, you should blame mountain bikes (evolved from beach cruisers) for hijacking the 26" size that was already fairly standard before it. If you bought the wrong size, consider it a lesson learned and move on. Or show your friends and family how much you know about bike tires. Don't blame the tire.

This tire will fit the size it says it will fit. If it doesn't fit, you bought the wrong size. That is NOT a reflection of the tire. If you bought the wrong size tire for your car, would you blame that tire as well??

I have found this bike tire causes the bike to roll much easier. It's probably a combination of the tread design and the higher tire pressure 90psi. Very pleased with the tire.

Honest reviews on Kenda K35 Street Wire Bead Bicycle Tire, Blackwall, 26-Inch x

Put a set of these on my 1971 Huffy 3 speed and they not only look good but are performing beyond what I thought they would. I would definitely buy these again. I have approx.130 miles on them (speedometer) and there is no sign of wear at all.

I'm just putting up another note to buyers.... these are an odd size tire; Schwinn made their proprietary size S7 rims in the 1960s, and these tires fit perfectly on those type rims. If you have a standard size 26" rim, like on a typical mountain bike for example, these tires will not fit.

Didnt come with any instructions for the make/model received, just generic instructions. Had to bring the whole bike to a local bike shop to make sure it is okay before I let my son ride it. The tire cutout (baseball in the middle of back/front tires) looks like it was cut by hand, very sloppy. Entire gear chain and sprockets were not greased, Im considering sending Amazon the bill from the bike shop. Overall not satisfied with the product

Easy to install if you pay attention. Looks nice and gives the car a high performance look. A bit expensive but far cheaper than high performance brakes. If looked at closely, you can tell the bolts are not real. It would be nice if they dressed that feature up a bit. These do work as advertised and look nice. Happy I bought these.

We had purchased this same bike over 4 years ago and it is still going strong. My four boys have ridden this trike over and over and sometimes even fight over it. My youngest, age 2 1/2 can manuever it quite easily as the seat is adjustable. I recommend the seat to be placed high for the little ones as they can reach the pedals much easier. Even my 9 year old still wants to ride from time to time. (He is the typical size for 9 years)I agree that the bike is a bit heavy, and one of my boys struggled with that for a little bit but he's mastered it now. This is a very durable bike which has outlasted any plastic ride-on toy that we've ever owned! So I'm now purchasing one for my nephew. Oh, and before I forget, there is also a wagon attachment that may be purchased seperately which can haul just about anything your child desires.

We first got it for my 3year old daughter. It then was used by my next daughter and now my son. Awesome trike! Pump the tires up and let them go. across the yard, off curbs you name it. Currenty my 2 1/2 year old son rides it and nothing stops him. The trike stands up to anything, even being partially run over with the car. Only down side is that may kids can go so fast on it (even two year old) it should have brakes beyond them putting their feet down. When my daughters were about 5 they could give me a ride when I stood on the back (level driveway).

I purchased the John Deere-Mighty Trike as a replacement tricycle for my 3 year old granddaughter. Upon arrival, the two of us assembled the Mighty Trike. The instructions are simple and very easy to follow. Problem No. 1 The tires required air inflation after assembly. This was solved with a bicycle pump. Problem No. 2 The handlebar design, although strong, needs an additional pin or screw to keep the handlebar upright as pictured. I drilled an additional hole above the assembly bolt and installed a No. 8 machine screw and elastic stop-nut. Now our Mighty Trike lives up to its name and is built like a rock.

My 3 year old received this for his birthday in August. He loves it!!! My husband and I liked it more at the beginning but each time a peddle falls off, we get a little bit more aggravated with it. We have had to put the peddles back on this bike at least 10 times in 2 1/2 months. It would be more enjoyable if it was made a little bit better.

SRAM Crank S600 8-Speed 3.0 Powerspline Reviews

SRAM Crank S600 8-Speed 3.0 Powerspline
Customer Ratings: 5 stars

I've been converted to SRAM parts and components over the past year or so. They've come a long way. Taking on the rebuild of my 10 year old Mongoose, I decided that I would use all SRAM parts due to my experience with their solid construction and general high value in price. Please keep in mind that low price does not mean cheap in this instance. This crankset is solidly constructed and I would value it at other cranksets I've seen at at least twice the price.

Once I got the old crankset off, the SRAM installed very easily and turns like butter with a powerspline bottom bracket. I also replaced my whole power train with SRAM X4 parts (derailleurs, rear gear cassette, shifters and chain) and so far they appear to complement each other nicely. Shifting is smooth and precise, although indexing the gears properly with the 8-speed cassette took me some time.

My only watchout is that some of the SRAM parts here may have the wrong picture in the description. Read the description carefully to ensure you get the part you want. I originally ordered a crankset that had a picture of a 3 speed but it turned out to only be a 1 speed (which is what it said if I had read the details). No problem returning it, just set my build back a few days.

After much research and shopping around for a good quality tricycle for my two-year-old, I found this Roadmaster and am very pleased! My main criteria for choosing a tricycle were:

(1) The trike should not be tippy. Several popular models (like the Radio Flyer Fold 2 Go) seem to tip over with the slightest nudge.

(2) The tires should be made of rubber, not hard plastic. Plastic tires provide a rough ride, are loud on rough pavement, and show their wear much moreso than rubber tires.

(3) Value While I don't mind spending more for better quality/features, some models seem overpriced for what they offer.

My 3-year-old son has a Schwinn Roadster 12-Inch Trike (Red) (also highly recommended), but I had been considering the Radio Flyer classic red dual-deck tricycle for my 2-year-old, until finding this Roadmaster model. The quality and features seem comparable to the Radio Flyer (minus the streamers on the handlebars). It has nice solid metal construction, and rubber tires. The trike is nice and stable. Assembly was required, but was straightforward. At the lowest adjustable seat position, my 2-year-old can reach the pedals nicely, and should be able to grow with the trike for some time. And, of course, the ultimate test my daughter loves it! This Roadmaster trike is a great unit, especially at its price point.

We got this bike for our 2 year son for his birthday. It's a great bike all around. You won't be disappointed with this bike.

Reasons to buy :

(1) The trike should not be tippy.

(2) The tires should be made of rubber, not hard plastic.

(3) Value Great bike for a great price.

(4) Style great design look like a radio flyer

We have twin 2.5 year old girls. So we got 2 trikes. The Girls are still a little young for it even at the lowest setting. They are very slightly on the tall side for their age. Probably in another 3 months they will be peddling around.

Quality is only so-so.

As the label on the bike says: "designed in USA, made in China".

The design for this bike is pretty good. But every every effort has been made to save money on the parts. There are little things that indicate a lack of attention to detail: low quality hardware, washers that are the wrong size, I had to use some of my own washers in order to properly bolt the main frame to the step otherwise the supplied screws just pass through.

You have to really crank on the steering wheel screw in order to get it to stay in place. Also, the steering wheel on one of the bikes won't go perfectly straight.

The tires that were supplied are not true on the wheel. They are a little warped.

All that said, when this trike is on sale it is worth it. They do seem solid enough. And I like the old school design.

Honest reviews on Roadmaster Duo Deck 10-Inch Trike

Maybe I'm the only person so far that thought this trike is just OK. I purchased it for a toddler as part of a charity Christmas toy drive. I had high expectations for it because of the prior reviews and hope that this makes the little boy happy. But I am a little disappointed with it and wonder if I would buy it again for my son. First off, the bolt that holds the seat in took a lot of effort to screw in-ok, way too much effort. The seat install took about 30 minutes, the majority of the time I spent assembling the trike. Obviously the hole wasn't tapped correctly. Also, the back wheels are a bit wobbly-not enough to be a real problem or dangerous but it bothered me. Worst part in my opinion is the tires. They smell horrible. I just hope the air out soon. To put this in perspective, I have a 3000 square foot house and could smell them everywhere I went. I had to put it in the garage immediately-the trip to work tomorrow with it in the car is going to be a long one. Bottom line, love the retro look, the price was right, but there are enough issues that I may think twice before buying this when my son is old enough.

I'm very happy we selected this tricyle. Our daughter is two and a half, and on the shorter side, and she was able reach the pedals and ride the trike without any problem. It seems very sturdy and our daughter loves riding it. We love the retro look of the trike and feel the price was very reasonable. We did have one problem but it was resolved to our satisfaction. When we received the product one of the pieces was damaged (from shipping I presume). The seller (JPL Goods) responded very quickly to our issue and we had a replacement part in a matter of days.

I've been using my new skates a lot lately and I must say I am satisfied with the feel and quality of this product. The original wheels are good for grip on indoor surfaces and the bearings + (softer) wheel combo don't roll for super long distances but that's to be expected. Slightly loosening the wheels allow for longer roll and slightly loosening the trucks (both with the tool included) allow for better mobility. The boot fits secure and is true to size.

Purchased a set of these skates for my daughter's 14hth birthday. She's been skating a weekly basis for quite some time and wanted her own skates. Will take quite some time to recoup the cost of rentals, but that's really not the point here.

Sizing is very close. They seemed to run just a little big mostly in the width. Take this that these are built for "average" feet my daughter has been "blesses" with my narrow feet.

First time out, they need to be adjusted. Once that is done the feedback I have gotten is that they are great skates. She's very happy with them and said her skating has improved since she's been using them. They are the greatest in the world, but for the cost they are far better than using rentals at the rink!

If your kid is into skating, and wants a decent pair to roll on consider these.
