When these first arrived I thought the batteries were dead. It was when I opened them up to see what kind of batteries they needed that I discovered the little pieces of paper meant to keep the batteries from going dead during shipping or sitting on a store shelf. Once removed, the lights worked great! They attract a lot of attention when I'm out riding at night and I've been asked about them a lot. I will say the photo in the listing is a bit misleading you have to be going VERY fast for them to look like a blue ring of light on your tire. This is true of all wheel lights though, so just a heads up about that. Also, if you screw them too far down on the valve stem threads you may inadvertently cause your tire to go flat over night as they can put just enough pressure on the stem to slowly leak air. No problem, I pumped the tire back up and didn't screw them on as tight. Since then, they've given me no problems and like I mentioned before, people really notice them. I like them!

No failures or breakage of the 4 pair I bought. They even came with a little Presta-Schrader adapter.

Only problem is, it's illegal to put a blue light on a bike in California.

I'm going to try putting some clear red tape or plastic over the lens to see if I can get purple, which would be both legal and a cool colour!

The lights work great but one stays on so I had to put paper between the batteries and contact during non-use.

I purchased this a year ago and never made a review until now that I was worried that it might be recalled. Thank goodness its not because my daughter loves this trike! Its cute and grows with your child, so it is indeed perfect. I would definitely recommend this to others.

Arrived in perfect time, and my granddaughter just loves it. She has no problems reaching and pushing the peddles, no problem moving the front wheel. Very sturdy.

I purchased this for my 2 year old daughter. She loves all the bells and whistles but even at the closest setting she can't reach the pedals. I'm hoping when she's three she'll be able to ride it as intended.

Honest reviews on Fisher Price Ni Hao, Kai-Lan Lights & Sounds Trike

We bought this trike for our 16 month old for Christmas as she's in to riding toys now. She's taller than most her age, so she's able to reach the pedals with no problem. She loves sitting on it and hitting all the buttons that have either sayings or tunes. I expect that she'll be able to use this trike for years to come!

This bike is incredibly durable! We have had it for two years now and it still works perfectly. It is an outside toy and has survived dozens of rainstorms and a few blizzards and the electronics are still going strong. Both of my kids (ages 2 and 3) love this bike!!

Our 11 month old son LOVES his Wishbone bike. He isn't walking yet, but already has this bike moving! It was easy to put together and we anticipate stress free adaptations to the other configurations (3-wheeler > 2-wheeler).

No negative feedback.

*Over 3 years later this bike is still going strong. We now have 3 children and they all love Wishbones! All 3 were riding before walking. These bikes are amazing!

I bought this bike for my 15 month old after a test drive in a local toy store. The first time he sat on the bike, he zipped past us out the door and down the hallway in the mall. He LOVED IT SO MUCH. His height is average and his motor skills development are slightly above average. While there was a learning curve, he's figured out how to steer and back up to get around tight corners. The only trouble he's had with the bike was hitting his heels on the back bar that supports the wheels in the three wheel configuration. The bar catches the back of his shoes and pulls them off of his feet or makes the bike unstable. We solved the problem by having him wear Skidders (http://www.amazon.com/Pre-Walk-Skidders-Skull-Pattern-Shoes/dp/B002ECW7TO/ref=pd_sbs_shoe_7a) while riding. Since the walking surface joins smoothly to the sock top, it doesn't catch on the bar. Shortly after that, he developed enough skill to adjust his stride so that his feet stopped hitting the bar. We haven't had problems with the hardware other than his enthusiasm for tearing off the black foam seat cover. If you have the option, I'd recommend buying the additional seat cover with the bike to protect the padding from enthusiastic little fingers. The seat cover isn't available in the US as a separate purchase for another couple of months. I had to contact the manufacturer in New Zeland to order one. Although international shipping is a pain in the butt, they were wonderfully friendly and helpful.

I initially learned about this product on the mothering.com forums and put the purchase off for awhile. Recently I happened to go to a boutique store and my daughter, 2.5, jumped right on the tricycle and started moving it right away. Anything my daughter loves, I love, so I ordered it right away and I am confident it will last much longer than any other balance bike.

Honest reviews on Wishbone 3 in 1 Original Bike

My 17 month old loves the bike, would like to use it more often but has some flaws; for starters no matter what I do the seat keeps dropping back. The turning radius of the bike is wide -The rest is up to your child's ability and your encouragement. Happy riding.

Also this bike can be purchased for a bit less on redenvelope.com... Currently there is a promotian going on (additional 15% off of the lowest price) so with the promotion the bike is only $150 and shipping is no more than $10

We adore the Wishbone Bike. After much research and debate, we finally bit the bullet and purchased the Wishbone for our son's Christmas present at the age of 2. Most balance bikes were at least a little too tall for him to be comfortable. The Wishbone had one of the shortest seat heights AND the option for him to ride it as a trike. That meant he was guaranteed to be able to ride it, one way or another, and the fact that it can flip to get even taller meant it had a long life, too.

The packaging was excellent and everything was neat and orderly, yet with minimal packing materials. I loved that the extra parts fit in a nice pouch to save for swapping to the other mode (though since my husband still managed to lose them, I now also know that you can order extra parts from the company!). The bike was easy to put together. It looked fabulous and was very sturdy.

Our 2-year-old loved it from the first on Christmas morning. He mastered riding it in a circuit in the house on three-wheels and eventually could turn corners with amazing speed never crashing into walls! The bike is super light so that he could maneuver it even off the bike, and it was easy to throw in the back of the van to take to the park (where it gets lots of interest because it is THAT cool!).

When he was 3, our son wanted it to be a "motorcycle," so we transitioned the bike to a 2-wheeler. He mastered that quickly and was soon tearing up the house AND neighborhood on 2 wheels. Being comfortable on 3-wheels definitely helped him master the 2-wheels with confidence.

The bike is QUIET in the house, even on tile floors on which things like a Razor are super loud. The tires are non-marking and hold air well. Despite heavy use for more than 2 years, the wood never cracked or was damaged beyond minor nicks.

The only problems we've had:

The screws holding the handlebars came loose and eventually the handlebar parts came out, altogether. (We lost a screw so couldn't put it back together.) So my son mastered riding it holding onto the holes for the handlebar, in the stem of the bike. Didn't slow him down at all. ;)

The bike is great for riding outdoors, but our kids ended up leaving it outside one day. We didn't realize it until quite some time later, after at least a full week of rain. (Our son kept asking where it was, but no one realized it had been outside.) This wouldn't be good for any bike, but is particularly bad for a wooden bike. It's obviously no fault of the manufacturer, though, and a known caution with a bike made of wood. It simply MUST be stored indoors.

Heartbreaking as it is to realize the amazing, much-loved, and expensive bike is now ruined, we will absolutely be replacing it. Not only is it our (now) 4-year-old's favorite toy, but it needs to be passed down to his little sister, who will soon be ready for the trike version.

We have recommended the Wishbone highly and everyone we know who has gotten one has loved it, too. I'm convinced it's the best balance bike on the market.

Cheap Icon Patrol Waterproof Motorcycle Gloves Black 3xl

Comfortable gloves. The little finger hole is exceptionally long or I have a very short little finger, which I have never noticed before.

I had a chance to use these in a light rain. Not a bit of leakage. So, they are 'Waterproof Motorcycle Gloves'. I would give them 5 stars for this.

However, the day I used them, it was 37 degrees. And when I got to my destination (20 minutes) my fingers and hands were flat freezing. What I needed / should have looked harder for is a pair of Waterproof WINTER Motorcycle Gloves.

These will work just fine above 50 degrees, in the rain. Will keep your fingers dry.

Not winter gloves. It is probably not 'fair' to only give them 3 stars, but for $90, I expected more.

its very confortable and you feel your hans so protected. the bad thing, it cant keep your hands wet on heavy rain and the Goggle wipe on thumb does not clean your helmet visor.

Best Deals for Icon Patrol Waterproof Motorcycle Gloves Black 3xl

Ok, so I ride my motorcycle to work 32 miles round trip every day regardless of weather... I hate getting wet, so my gear will get flak if it's not perfect.

These are water proof and do as well as any glove in the low teen's (Fahrenheit), but the cone shape that extends up your forearm is like a funnel when you come to a stop. The cone shape is absolutely perfect for wind, especially when it's cold. Because it is cone shaped, it is hard to put your coat sleeve over top of it, especially since you lack the dexterity of normal fingers when you are wearing clumsy gloves.

So, in a downpour, your hands will probably get wet while in cold wind, you will love these gloves.

Sturmey Archer S30 3-Speed 36h, Internal Drum Brake

I like and use this 3 speed hub on a custom beach cruiser. It is inexpensive, available and works silky smooth. The built in brake is a plus to keep out sand and allows you to reposition the bike pedals for a strong take off from a traffic light. My only negative point is that the gears are wide where a regular derailer would have 5 gear steps that this hub spans with three. So, this results in a transition of pedaling too fast then too slow with a gear change on the road.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

I have the hub from the fishing reel company and the one with the artists name and 2 of these from SA. They are all different and they are all different compared to a deraillreurs.

With the SA you cannot play around with the way this works with the dropouts on your frame, in other words, do not try to loosen the axle to clock this one to work, you will mess up the way the bearing is adjusted and be in a spot with trying to bring it back to spec or not ruining it while riding on it in this state. This may be problematic considering the frame brace on this with the drum brake needs to be in a certain spot. I have one on my daughters bike with the front facing 45 deg dropout and on a track frame with horizontal dropouts and they both needed finagling to get right but they both work fine.

Next, be mindful of how this is adjusted in second gear and don't ride it hard immediately because there is going to be cable stretch and loosening/re-tightening of the cable as you dial it in on your first ride, be patient. I go with the 2:1 chainring to cog ratio, no issues with any of the chain rings or cogs and I use a lower cost $10 chain from one of the 2 big companies, I use an 18/38-36 on my two.

Finally, this does not shift like the precise fishing reel company's hub, it is a bit more laid back, and not at all like a derailleur. There must be zero tension on the chain when twisting into a new gear, do not force it! It is not like a derailleur where you may want a little tension as you shift to get the chain on to the next cog. I will be honest, I ruined my first one because I thought I should be mashing into the next gear, I also ruined the twist shifter trying to force it into what I thought it should do or wanted it to do before I adjusted it properly. It is just different and you need to get used to it. You would think I would toss it and do something different after blowing it up but my daughters setup has been perfect, 2nd one I did, and thought it was worth another try because operator error was likely to blame.

Because it is different and laid back, it does not lend itself to MTB riding because it is bit slower and you have cannot have tension on the chain, which is necessary on a MTB bike when negotiating obstacles, when changing gears. Do yourself a favor and keep this one on the road!

So, you cannot beat this for the money, it is smooth and quiet and comes with everything you need in the box to install it (everything). I did notice that SA is incorporating updates into the hub, improving little things from the ones I bought a year ago, so you know that SA is making constant improvements in the product which is a good sign that they are selling these and committed to a high quality product. I really like it and think I got a very good deal on it considering it comes complete..

I really like this 3 speed hub. I converted my bike to a cargo bike (xtra-cycle) the same time I got this hub. I originally had a 38 tooth single speed sprocket on the front. The 3-speed hub didn't work too well with that 38 tooth sprocket. (Had to hold the shifter down to stay in 1st gear.)

Got a 42 tooth sprocket from amazon and the bike really works superb now, better with this 3 speed than with the original Nexus 7. I knew this 3-speed shifter was the one I wanted, from when I was a kid riding my cousin's Raleigh. Really impressed by it then and like it a lot now. Seems stronger, smoother, more mechanically sound than the nexus. Riding in the rain probably did the nexus in. Won't need to ride in the rain with this one but bet it would hold up if I did.

Recommend the cargo bike too. Really nice to have.

My son has a few bikes already, but since I got it for him about a month ago, this is his first choice to ride. It seems well-made and it only took about a half hour to put together. It wasn't too hard and the directions were pretty clear. Normally, I would rather get the bike already put together, but one of the reviews said it wasn't too bad, and I'm glad I didn't let that deter me.

It isn't great for riding on any hilly areas. The tires are plastic and it's hard to pedal it going uphill without the pedals moving without engaging the wheels. But any park with a reasonably level surface is great and it doesn't take up too much room in the car. We let our son ride in the house and in the backyard patio area and I haven't noticed any damage to our laminate wood floors. (Hard to say since our floors have been through a lot with him, though.)

He loves to pretend he is riding a motorcycle and this bike makes pretty cool sounds. I'm totally immune to noise at this point, so it doesn't bother me, but there is an on-off switch for the sounds (and you can always take the batteries out.)

I'm really glad I got this bike even though we have two other tricycles and one 2 wheeler with training wheels. His friends love to come over and ride together, so it's worth it to get an extra bike or two. And the price was so reasonable, I didn't have to get it used. I would definitely recommend this bike.

I bought this for my son's second birthday, and he loves it. Unfortunately, at 3ft tall he is still too short to pedal, but he scoots around in it just the same. My other son is six, and since the seat is adjustable, he can ride around. Which is great, because he is showing my 2 yr old how to ride and push all the buttons. Since it's made of very sturdy plastic, it should last quite a while. The wheels are hard plastic as well, with no traction, so the kids tend to spin out quite a bit. There are a lot of different sound effects, and can be quite loud, but they love the motorcycle sounds. All and all the kids are happy, so I'm happy. Well worth the money.

Really good for racing, Very light , little or no deformity at high pressure like with other brands. Love the price. They are the beast Value racing tube arround

These are great road bike tubes. They have a nice long (60mm) smooth silver stem, not the threaded or brass ones many other tubes have. Even though they are "super lite" I don't have any more flats with them than others. Plus being a little thinner they also fit in my bike bag easier.

I could not find the size of inner tube (thorn resistant) locally, even though I live in the land of cactus thorns (Phoenix, AZ). These inner tubes were excellent quality and I'm looking forward to few, if any flat tires in the future.

Prefer this heavier tube on a front wheel since this would encounter a puncture obstacle first without impacting speed or rear wheel drag. Mounting on front also increased steering stability on cindered and hard pack trails.
