Good, sturdy construction and easy to assemble.

Nice, clean finish and design.

The resistance knob is also an instant flywheel brake;

simply push it straight down to apply the brake.

The only negative remark would be that it is NOT

built for anyone shorter than 61".

lowering the top of the seat height stop, along with

the seat height adjustment knob would be a good idea.

The rubber caps on the ends of the gun grips popped off the first time I pulled the gun out. All four grips, all four rubber caps popped off. Also, the seller Power Sport Superstore (http://www.amazon.com/gp/aag/main?ie=UTF8&asin=&isAmazonFulfilled=0&isCBA=&marketplaceID=ATVPDKIKX0DER&seller=A3TGC5XRRCX4P2) refuses to exchange it, rather telling me I have to contact Great Day, Inc. directly terrible customer service.

This overhead rack works perfectly on my Polaris Side by Side. It installed in under 5 min and works flawlessly. No vibration, guns don't come loose and we have tested it HARD in over 120 miles of extremely rough Alaska trails, swamps, mudholes, and steep terrain. Neither gun moved at all. This is a must have item for hunters! Thanks! Dan

Honest reviews on Great Day Inc Quick Draw Overhead Gun Rack - 23in.-28in. QD850OGR

There are two sizes and I needed the shortest one. It actually wouldn't get as short as advertised and I had to cut 3/4" off to make it fit. Seems to hold guns pretty well. Doesn't hold the barrel end very securely and the guns ratttle a bit. If you use it a lot I would expect the barrel end to rub blue off the barrel.

Perfect for my vintage scoot and with the Michelin name you can't go wrong. Nice to go tubeless as well. Thanks

The tire comes in with a date code a year old. The tires are ok. But they dry rot in a year in the Florida sun and don't wear much better.

Honest reviews on Michelin S83 Classic Scooter Tire - 3.50J-10/--

the scooter handles very well now, i ve leaned it pretty aggressively. this is only a couple of dollars more than the generic chinese brand. rated to 62mph... no brainer for me. in fact, just ordered another one for the rear even though it wasnt necessary, technically.

Arrived on time. needed an emergency replacement on my scooter so I ended up with these Michelin's. they seem to be good tires, they grip the road well and have pretty good thread on them. My only complain is that I'm a bit afraid to pull the brakes to hard since the will easily slide on the road like they did on me this morning. It may be because they're new to me..? I'll keep them and see how it goes. but over all a good tire.

Maxxis detonador is one of those tires you can use for training and you won't need to change it for a weekend race.

Very good puncture resistaince and very nice roling.

After so many years triyng tires I can said this ones are one of favorites.

I have used detonators with great success. Excellent tire that is able to stand up to the punishing roads of Oahu. Tires before suffered from punctures everyday.

I do not recommend the white sidewall. I pumped it up to 120 psi and possibly had too much stuff in my backpack. I commute to work. First use and first tire to blow a sidewall on me. Scared the heck out of the people next to me in an amazing explosion. I was able to laugh about it later.

I am still ordering these tires but i am sticking to the regular sidewall and the newer versions of these tires. I give the tire 1 star because of the experience, but would rate the detonators 5 stars.

I have about 1k miles on the tires and have no complaints. they seem to hold up nicely on pretty beaten roads I ride. Minimal flats; I think I have only had 2-3 since switching. (Normally >8 flats/1k mile) The rear tire has just began to show any significant signs of wear.

Honest reviews on Maxxis Detonator 28" Road Bike Tyre 28 Zoll, Kevlar white/black

These tires were stock on my hybrid bike. They ride okay, are fairly smooth and fast, and still provide the necessary grip to bestow confidence in just about all situations (except snow and ice, of course). In the three months that I had these tires on my bike, I had numerous flats even though I ride on designated and well-maintained bike paths. I average about 120-150 miles a week and with the Detonators, it seemed that almost not a single week went by without a flat.

Last week, I went on a 25 mile ride and incurred two flats on the same ride. That was my breaking point and I finally purchased a different set of tires. The Detonators are quite annoying if you dislike having flats in the middle of nowhere several times a month.

Got some Maxxis detonators March 2010. I have about 1200-1300 miles on a set and they pooped out on me. I ride about 150-200 miles/week I've been cycling since I was 11 (did RAGBRAI on an old schwinn crisscross) and while I am not a certified mechanic, I know a fair amount about equipment. My LBS suggested these tires to me when in a pinch for some new ones. They did ok, but I have burned through a couple of patch kits. Right out of the gate I was getting flats. The latest nightmare happened while on my first 300 km brevet this past weekend. 5 flats. That really hurt considering I was trying to just finish, let alone stop and fix flats.

Either way, I'm going a different direction with my tires. The colors were fun and entertaining, the tires look good and perform well on smooth, debris free roads (what tire doesn't, and what road is free of debris?). But, I am going the way of practicality from now on and ordered me up some marathon +'s. I can't fix a flat every couple hundred miles, despite getting really good at changing tubes with these tires.

Review of Diamondback 2013 Insight STI-8 Performance Hybrid Bike with 700c

Diamondback 2013 Insight STI-8 Performance Hybrid Bike with 700c Wheels
Customer Ratings: 4.5 stars

This is my third Diamondback bike, 2004 Citi (stolen) & 2007 Edgewood (still riding) although I'm sold on the product I did shop other many other brands. I was looking for more of a road bike than the Edgewood but keeping some of the toughness & upright geometry of a hybrid. All roads led back to Diamondback. This was the first bike I have bought without testing (or even seeing) plus with the internal geared hub, I was extremely apprehensive.

The bike arrived last week on time. The box was opened but nothing missing & otherwise in good shape. Assembly was easy; the back wheel was already installed so it was just a matter of putting on the front wheel, seat, handlebars and very minor brake adjustments. The assembly instructions were mostly generic and for the most part not applicable to the insight. The separate instructions for aligning the yellow lines on the Nexus hub seemed intimidating to me. I was totally unfamiliar with the internal geared hub and almost decided to take it to a bike shop. However the bottom line is the entire shifting system is already assembled/adjusted. All you have to do is turn the shifter from gear #1 to gear #4 and see if the yellow lines on the hub are aligned, it's that simple.

The handlebar is flat and the stem height is not adjustable. For my personal preference this is much too low for medium/long rides and really concerned me. However after adding end bars to the handlebar it works out great. In fact it is more comfortable than if I had adjusted the height.

To date I have put 76 miles (typical week) on the Insight (3X12 Mile & 2X20 Mile rides) of course I had to make some adjustments to suit me (the saddle had to go as a large 6' 3" male it was too narrow) but it has turned out to exceed my expectations. The ride is smooth and the eight gears are more than enough to handle what hills I encounter and plenty fast enough. I'm sold on the 8 speed hub it is great & very smooth shifting. It is also nice to be able to shift to a lower gear while stopped. If this holds up I don't know why I would ever go back to the derailer system. The bike provides a very comfortable, smooth and enjoyable ride. In my mind it is much closer to a road bike than a hybrid, exactly what I was looking for. I'm still sold on Diamondback.

PS: get an adapter for the valve stems ahead of time. They are not standard. It cost me three bucks at the bike shop.

UPDATE: 5/28/13

I put the 1st thousand miles on the insight STI-8 last weekend. I am still very pleased with the bike. I now average 110-130 miles per week (a significant increase since I bought this bike) mostly on multi use trails/paths, residential streets and a few short dirt roads.

It is very comfortable ride, fast enough to get you where you need to be while sitting in a more upright position than a road bike. When I need to go somewhere if practicable, it is my 1st choice of transportation. After 1k miles I went over the bike thoroughly checking for loose spokes, nuts & screws. No problems to report. The 8 speed internal hub in my mind is a great concept. I hope it holds up & catches on. I would hate to go back to the old derailleur system.

To let you know the bike also works great for the "seasoned", slightly heavier guy or gal who just wants a healthy & enjoyable way to get some exercise and around town. I'm 60ish (not a 20 something 1% body fat cycle enthusiasts) my average speed during rides is 11-12 mph. Bottom line the insight still exceeds my expectations. Still five stars.

UPDATE:9/26/13

I just went over 3000 miles this week on the insight and still very pleased. I am riding a pretty steady 135 miles per week now (15mX5d & 30mX2d). The only issue I have had is the back tire wore out at about 2300 miles. Of course I put off changing it until it blew out (I discussed the stupidly of procrastination with myself during the almost three mile walk back to the house). I have had to tighten a few screws & bolts mostly on the accessories I have added. Surprisingly to me the spokes remain tight & wheels true. This has been an issue for me with other bikes. The internal hub shifter is holding up well no problem at all. All and all a good ride & I'm still very satisfied with the bike. Again, still five stars.

Got it 4 days ago. Paid for assembling $50. The ride is smooth and light. Front breaks are a little noisy during wet weather (bringing it back to the assembling guy tomorrow). Gear shifter is smooth. After talking to a bike shop professional I have doubts about this bike withstanding robust trails. According to him labeling this bike as hybrid is just a sales pitch it is a road bike. Time will show.

Best Deals for Diamondback 2013 Insight STI-8 Performance Hybrid Bike with 700c

i bought this bike because my wife had bought a Diamondback at a local Sporting Goods store. As far as the product goes it is definitely a good bike but I am not much of a cyclist but i can tell you that this bike is a very smooth and comfortable ride

Honest reviews on Diamondback 2013 Insight STI-8 Performance Hybrid Bike with 700c

The wheels were not true right out of the box. The pedals are flimsy for a mountain bike, which I thought hybrids were a cross between a mountain and road bike. I won't even mention how poorly the brakes were aligned and how bad they squeaked until I fixed them. The left crank fell off during my 2nd ride, and on my 3rd ride, the puncture resistant tires were anything but, as I now have my 1st flat. The seat is skinny, and not comfy at all even with the gel in it.

The only thing hybrid about this bike is the flat handlebar, which I'm replacing with a riser bar anyway. This is a road bike, nothing close to a mountain bike about this thing at all.

The internal gears work, but the wheel has a high amount of friction, and you can't coast very long at all on this bike.

Oh, I'm fixing all the issues that I can by swapping out pedals, seat, and now a new inner tube, getting the wheels trued, etc., and I'll still ride it on occasion, but it's not exactly what I had in mind. 3.5 stars for the bike, knocked down another 1/2 star due to numerous pre-assembled issues that needed corrected.

I'm happy with the packaging etc. The hub is going to be used in a bike I am in the process of building. I am very disappointed with the description and the product features here are misleading. I assumed the shifter was included with the hub. This is only a $10.00 part, so not a big deal, but now I need to wait longer to get both parts. The information under product features says:

"The ergonomic grip shift lever with a large speed indicator guarantees maximum riding comfort" One would think the shifter would come WITH the hub by this.

So be advised, this is NOT a complete package. You need to buy the shifter, and disc rotor separately.

You do get: Hub, Trim kit, Cog, & snap ring.

I was extremely pleased with this rain jacket and I found it to be better than other lightweight rain jackets I have had in the past. It is made of a material that resists water but has miniscule breathing ability to allow air and keeps me from perspiring as I did in other rain jackets. The only thing I miss is pockets. This jacket has none. But the hood is detachable and that is an added convenience.

i wear extra small and the small is too large to be comfortable and no pockets-not even inner pocket for cell phone.keys, etc

Honest reviews on Frogg Toggs PA63102-01SM Pro Action

I wore out one Frogg Toggs when the zipper broke on the jacket and it was more expensive to replace the zipper than buy a new one. So this one was a replacement for the jacket. The jacket will be used on a fishing trip to Canada. The jacket is fine. The original one had the ability to hide the hood in the jacket. This one the hood can disassemble from the jacket. Otherwise it remains on the back of the jacket. The only other difference is that the material seems to be stiffer. However, with use this may change. All in all, this is a good jacket for rain at a reasonable price.

These are great road bike tubes. They have a nice long (60mm) smooth silver stem, not the threaded or brass ones many other tubes have. Even though they are "super lite" I don't have any more flats with them than others. Plus being a little thinner they also fit in my bike bag easier.

As you likely know, these are an irregular size tire, and a little hard to find. When one of the sellers is offering free shipping, these are one of the best deals... otherwise you need to order several to get the shipping per item down. The tubes work well, I use on a recumbent bike, and inflate to 100-110 psi without issue. I used to inflate lower, but had issues with snakebite flats because of the small amount of tire between you and the road. Good value.
