It isn't great for riding on any hilly areas. The tires are plastic and it's hard to pedal it going uphill without the pedals moving without engaging the wheels. But any park with a reasonably level surface is great and it doesn't take up too much room in the car. We let our son ride in the house and in the backyard patio area and I haven't noticed any damage to our laminate wood floors. (Hard to say since our floors have been through a lot with him, though.)
He loves to pretend he is riding a motorcycle and this bike makes pretty cool sounds. I'm totally immune to noise at this point, so it doesn't bother me, but there is an on-off switch for the sounds (and you can always take the batteries out.)
I'm really glad I got this bike even though we have two other tricycles and one 2 wheeler with training wheels. His friends love to come over and ride together, so it's worth it to get an extra bike or two. And the price was so reasonable, I didn't have to get it used. I would definitely recommend this bike.

I bought this for my son's second birthday, and he loves it. Unfortunately, at 3ft tall he is still too short to pedal, but he scoots around in it just the same. My other son is six, and since the seat is adjustable, he can ride around. Which is great, because he is showing my 2 yr old how to ride and push all the buttons. Since it's made of very sturdy plastic, it should last quite a while. The wheels are hard plastic as well, with no traction, so the kids tend to spin out quite a bit. There are a lot of different sound effects, and can be quite loud, but they love the motorcycle sounds. All and all the kids are happy, so I'm happy. Well worth the money.
