I had purchased two of these. Super easy to use. Big benefit is that you can actually refill and use the container. I also like the idea that the carrier oil for the Teflon is bio degradable. Best if both worlds... Get the Teflon for lubrication and the carrier oil can just drip off without harming the environment

I don't know how long this will last as the bottle is pretty light but I already feel like I got my dollar's worth. Item was packaged well and cap was taped on.

You shake the bottle then use the cap itself to pump the bottle. It's a neat idea. Once you pump it up, the sprayer works like an conventional aerosol would...although sometimes it sprayed a stream (probably if the pressure was too low?) but that actually worked out perfectly for me...

I had used WD40 a couple weeks ago and while that was great for cleaning the chain, things started squeaking which made me think the chain was CLEAN but not well-lubed. Enter Tri-Flow.

I used to use the regular Tri-Flow back in the day but haven't had a bike in a decade. Amazing to think it's been that long. But this soy lube worked great today.... everything felt so smooth.... bike was a joy to ride.

If I notice anything amiss in the next month, I'll report back. But I feel like this will be my bike lubricant of choice for some time to come.

There's not to be said about this product, because it's lubricant. It works well, attracts some dirt (what lubricant doesn't?), and boasts being eco-friendly. With the soy-based lubricant and hand pump to avoid harsh chemicals, this product is perfect for the environmentally conscious consumer. It's a great product at a fair price, you can't ask for much more. Hope this helps!!

My fiance is an avid runner and runs 3 miles every single day. I was concerned because she either runs in the morning or after work both times are dark out being it is winter. Although she runs in the neighborhood that does not have sidewalks, she told me about a "close call" with a driver not seeing her although she wore bright colors. I set out on quest. At first, I purchased a reflective vest that was highly rated. This worked great. Still it was only reflective and did not produce it's own light source. It did not make sense to me... there had to be something out there. I created in my mind a vest that had it's own light source. I found this and it is perfect. Not too bright to be annoying yet bright enough to be seen from many many more feet than just a reflective vest. The best life insurance one can have if playing in the street after dark like our parents told us not to.

Bought this for a relay race and it worked as advertised. Below are things I think that should be improved (easily):

1. The velcro placement is awkward and you need to be careful when adjusting it not to snag your tech T-shirt. This should be re-designed on the outside of the vest vs. inside.

2. The botton battery should be better sealed against water (the small piece of plastic sleeve fall off easily), ideally so one can rince the vest without removing the battery or the light strip.

3. The light strip on the front should really be white vs. orange. That way people can more easily tell if the wearer if coming closer or moving away.

overall, I am very happy with this vest. I use it to walk my dog in the evenings, and the LEDs are bright and get me noticed when it gets dark out. It is designed to be an easy fit over anything, and I have no complaints about the fit, but I am a smaller person. The fabric parts of this vest are smaller, so if you are really big, this may be a little small looking on you (though it will still reflect and light up, I guess).

I just wish that the fabric on the vest (that's not reflective or LED) was a bright orange color. I start my walks when it is still light out, and I wish the vest stood out during the day too. The LED and reflective strips are fine for dark, but I don't see why the rest of the vest can't also be a bright color for better dusk visibility.

We got this for my daughter for Christmas and it was an immediate hit. She LOVED it. I like that it doesn't SCREAM Cars but it has hints of it. It was fairly easy to put together and has held up well thus far. The paint job on it is actually very nice and we were impressed with the bike overall. It is the right size and I am sure she will get at least 18 months out of it. We could have gone bigger, but for her first "big kid" bike we wanted to make sure it fit her. Definitely would recommend for a 4 year old, especially one on the small size.

Got this for my now 3 year old last summer. He is only recently able to peddle it himself. Had the right idea, but wasn't strong enough to get going on our street. Younger/smaller kids might have some problems at first. Now have a hard time getting him to get off it to come in for meals or bedtime.

READ THIS BEFORE USING.

As others have said here, the weak point in this stand is the clamp connectors that lock the stand in place. The description is misleading in suggesting you can lock this stand in any position, as you can with higher priced stands. The problem is that the plastic connectors just are not up to the task of supporting the weight of an average bike in an UNBALANCED position. You will likely never get them tight enough to support an unbalanced bike without breaking them, however, there is what I believe to be a flaw in the assembly process that might result in a better working stand if you tend to it first.

Here is what you need to look at: BEFORE YOU USE THE STAND, loosen the bolt that holds the main clamp to its tube and remove the clamp. When you do, you will see there is a notch in the end of the aluminum tube, and inside the clamp there is a tab that is supposed to line up with the notch and go into it. I question whether or not this tab and notch are lined up with each other when the stands are boxed up. I don't know if it will work any better if they are, since I had already damaged mine by using the stand, but it seems obvious that is the way it should be. I drilled a hole where the tab used to be in mine and inserted a screw into it so that it would key into the notch, and it greatly improved the stability of the stand.

That being said, this stand will never hold an unbalanced bike without slipping long-term. Higher priced stands use clamps that are metal on metal, or they are geared or keyed to accomplish this. In practice, the rotating clamps on this stand are only good for changing the angle of the clamp to fit the tube you are trying to put it on. You will need to find the balance point of the bike for whatever angle you want it to sit at, and then clamp it down. I doubt you could use this stand to do something like clamp the bike upside-down from the top tube. Just ain't gonna happen.

But most of the time you will have the bike straight to work on it anyway, and for that it seems quite stable. The legs are wide and stable, and under normal use I don't see it falling over.

One other small annoyance: If you are to believe the instructions, it says to leave at least 3 inches of the top tube exposed on either side of the clamp, or it could become unstable. The problem I have found with this is that if you do it that way, it doesn't always leave you enough room to rotate the pedals without hitting the main bar of the stand, a problem solved on other stands by using an angled main bar. So far I have chosen to ignore this rule, without incident, but we'll see how that goes.

I'm giving the stand a 3 out of 5 mostly because the advertising leads you to believe it can do much more than it actually can. I bought it expecting this after reading the reviews, and I think it will do what I want while spending what I was comfortable spending. Make sure you take that into consideration, and consider saving up the extra bucks if you're going to use a stand a lot, or if you need it to do things that defy gravity.

As one of the other reviewers on here mentions, the most important part of the stand (the clamp that holds your bike) attaches to the base via a set of very weak, very flimsy, plastic tabs. Even when at their tightest, the bike is able to rotate freely if not perfectly balanced on the clamp. I made the mistake of over-tightening just a little bit, because it was proving impossible to make adjustments to the bike with it rotating at the slightest touch, and ended up driving the allen head bolt through the tabs, rendering the entire stand (even more) useless. Without the bolt there to keep the tabs together, the clamp that holds your bike to the base of the stand FALLS OFF.

In an attempt to salvage the stand, I went to Lowe's and bought a pair of face clamps, but no matter how hard you clamp the plastic tabs together, the bike STILL rotates. At least now it doesn't fall off the stand.

This is the worst kind of cheap junk. Spend an extra $50 and get a spin doctor. Or flip the bike on its seat and handlebar.

well... the darn thing looks solid. It sets up fast and it will hold a bike without any fear of tipping/falling. It is easy enough to use without a helper....

Unfortunately it fails in 1 important field. The clamp is attached to the metal arm with a bolt inserted into plastic tabs that squeeze it onto the pole. The clamp on my unit came loose immediately. I tried to tighten the bolt with the included allen wrench (by hand)... The bolt slipped through the plastic tabs with very little pressure, and will no longer fit in the larger sized hole left by the damage. The clamp now slips of the pole freely. Lame.

I noticed, however, with the clamp removed and the arm exposed,that there are predrilled holes in the arm. I believe I can drill through the hard plastic clamp (carefully) and firmly secure it with a bolt going through both the clamp and pole. Of course, this sort of modification should be unnecessary, but I have the idea that this piece of crap would be improved with the makeover. Unfortunately, the way the arm is fixed to the stand is with the same sort of plastic tab/bolt contraption that immediately failed on the clamp... so no doubt I will also be drilling holes to hold this tighter as well.

The only reason this piece of crap got 2 stars is because I believe with some slight modification, this will be a great stand. Like I said before it is sturdy/solid, and for the price that is something...i guess.

This stand is very sturdy yet it is light enough to be moved around very easily. The two bikes that I own 1 mountain and 1 hybrid fit nicely. You do have to apply extra pressure to the knob when you want the bike to stay at a certain angle. After a few uses it begins to grip better and it requires less pressure each time. It has a lot of height and therefore makes it a breeze to adjust to a height that is easy to work on no matter what part of the bike needs attention. It folds up and can be stored in a corner or can be hung up in the garage when not in use. This is a much better product than I thought it would be. I could not justify paying $150.00 for a stand that I am only going to use a half dozen times a year. This one certainly fits my budget and my needs.

I'll chose the garbage any day over this!! Today was the first day that I used the Rad Cycle stand and it nearly broke my collar bone!!! I was adjusting the rear brake on my wife's Trek 4900, the bike weighs all of around 26lbs with upgrades, when the clamp let go and the bike came crashing down onto my right shoulder! The retaining hex bolt pulled straight through the plastic!!!!! I am beyond disappointed and could kick myself for not listening to the other reviews.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program First, this toy definitely requires the rider to be wearing a helmet and I would also strongly recommend knee and elbow pads. As the description states, the rider drives straight and then pulls on the bar which results in a wicked spin out. Beware however that the rider will spin quickly and if they are close to anything when they pull this bar (such as a parked car), they could spin right into it. My husband was able to assemble the trike without any difficulty. What I noticed right away was this toy was really light weight. Our 6 (almost 7) year old son thought it was incredibly cool to ride. Unfortunately however the handlebar assembly snapped literally in my son's hand while he was in spinout mode making the bike completely inoperable (lightweight materials do have their downside). This occurred after only about 3 uses. There is clearly a lot of force placed on the handlebar when the rider is spinning out. We contacted Radio Flyer directly and they were aware of this problem (they thought they had resolved it before marketing the product) and sent the appropriate replacement parts. It took a while to disassemble the bike to install the new handlebar however it was worth the effort because our son really loves this trike. All in all, a very enjoyable toy and major thumbs up to Radio Flyer for standing behind their product and quickly replacing the defective parts.

Update....After several more uses, all tires are wearing out very prematurely. This trike will be inoperable after a few more uses as the tires, which are nearly bald, will have absolutely no tread left. Considering how expensive this trike was, I'm actually disappointed in the overall durability of this toy. It's still a lot of fun, just don't expect to have more than two months of serious play time with it.

2nd update handle bar broke AGAIN. Had to send it back to the company for their quality assurance unit to inspect. They sent a replacement scooter (free) that our son loved.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program The front wheel is hard plastic (no rusting) and the black tire portion is a soft plastic (I think they are using this tire on other current Radio Flyer products) The back wheels are the hard plastic wheels used on the old big wheels (and a R.F. wagon we currently have) but since the Tailspin has inline skate wheels to do the spinning this should not be a wear issue. The bike frame is all metal and very sturdy. The seat is plastic and adjustable with a screw driver and wrench. This trike is so sturdy I was even able to give it a very lame "mom spin" around the driveway much to my children's delight.

The directions to put the trike together were very clear and large. It took me an hour but I was being very careful. I was trying to make sure I had all of the washers and nuts in the proper place since my kids were going to be riding it. I am sure this will make it through many, many, years of play. Love it!

UPDATE: 2/2012 The handle bar rusted and snapped off at the shaft of the bike. It has only been left in the rain a few times since we got it but not enough times to warrant an irreparable break. Besides the rusted shaft the bike still looks new. What a shame.

The intended use is for 5 to 8 year olds but the bike is sturdy enough to hold my 11 year old boy and even though my 3 year old can't reach the pedals yet, she LOVES to pull on the spin handle and lift the bike up about 2 inches. The bike is easy to put together as my 11 year old did it all by him self with me only checking to ensure bolts were properly tightened. The spin lever works by lifting the bike off of the main back wheels and on to the smaller roller wheels making it spin out. I would say the only area of dissapointment is that the front wheels and main back wheels are plastic. If you are old enough to remember the 'Big Wheel', it is just like the wheels on those. It looks pretty odd to me as the rest of the bike has a sturdy metal frame and yet these cheap plastic wheels. I would have liked to see proper rubber tires.

I bought several of these. One is for a friend who trains annual for races. She loves its compactness and all the tools on it. My husband keeps his in his car as a compact tool kit. My cousins and I keep ours with our bikes for quick fixes. I seem to use mine mostly for seat and handle bar adjustments for my kids' bikes, as they seem to grow each time they get back in the saddle. I bought this to replace a slightly larger, though less functional Parks multitool that was starting to fall apart. Compared to the Parks tool, this is smaller, lighter, more functional (it has a screwdriver), and easier to use. I always had a really hard time opening the Parks tool and I normally had to use a coin to lever the first tool out. I don't have that problem with the Topeak its design makes it easier to get open.

I like the selection of tools too although I'm pretty sure I have no use for that star shapped tool what the heck is that for? I would have prefered a flat-blade screwdriver instead of the star tool. If anyone knows where I'm likely to find a use for the star tool on a road bike please let me know.

It comes in a small case which is awesome (even has a belt loop). Whenever I pulled the Parks tool out of my saddlebag it would grab everything it could on the way out and I would end up spilling the contents of the saddlebag all over the road. The Topeak case solves that problem nicely.

This is a very basic tool. You will still need a chain tool and a spoke wrench at a minimum unless you really like long walks home.

Interestingly I'm starting to see the Topeak symbol all over my bike lately. I think I'm starting to like that company. They made my toolset, pump, and saddlebag. LOL hadn't noticed before.

This tool is a must-have biking companion. With it you'll be able to adjust your seat, handlebars, and gears, at least. It's small, has just what you need, and fits snugly in its own carrying case. A friend recommended I pick up this awesome little tool when I bought my first bike. It lived in my bike bag and was the first bike tool I ever owned (I now am a bike mechanic, so I have lots of tools). I had to replace the bottom bracket on my 2010 Hardrock because it was creaking, so I got this one, which is what came stock on my bike.

Well, it worked fine for maybe a month before it started creaking like the old one.

If you are thinking about replacing your bikes bottom bracket by yourself and are thinking about this one, don't get it. Save time and money and invest in a good external bottom bracket, and possibly a new crankset.

I thought replacing mine with this one would last at least a year. Nope. It really is that bad.

Needed a bb for an old alivio octalink crankset that was going on a bike with a smaller bb shell. Not a huge fan of octalink, too heavy but much better than square tapers.

Bearings started to squeak in the first month. Now they are so loud I can't concentrate when I ride. Unfortunately I can't find the same size in any other model so I have to buy another one hoping it won't cheap bearing like my last one.

Update:I am an idiot. Played the odds hoping I would get a good one. Third time is not a charm. These ES25's are junk. The third one started to creak on the first ride. I don't want to drop another $50 to change crank styles so I am going to try the ES51. If this fails I will never use Shimano crap ever again. SRAM is the way to go. I have converted all my other components to SRAM accept the crank and BB. Shimano Sucks.

Received this tube the other day to replace an aging, leaky one on my trainer. I read the reviews and decided to gamble on it working out. If you're reading this, know that the previous low ratings were well warranted. I put it on my bike, inflated it and left the wheel alone while I washed up. In the time it took me to wash my hands, the tube ruptured and deflated. Upon removal, I found a large tear in the back. There was also a thin spot very near it which bulged when partially inflated. A pair of self adhesive patches seems to have taken care of it but I'll be buying another tube to replace it. Lucky for me it was for a stationary bike or else I'd have been stranded. If you're looking for a spare tube on the road, don't trust these!

I purchased the Powerwing DLX for my 9-year old son. It was easy to assemble and works perfectly. My son learned how to ride the Powerwing within a couple of minutes and was spinning and coasting around the driveway in no time. The 143 pound weight limit means both his older brother and sister (but not Dad) can ride the Powerwing as well. Works as a great substitute for children too young to ride a RipStick. The safety pads on the rear of the scooter keep the rider from flipping over as they learn how to ride. The handle brake is a nice feature as well.

My daughter is eleven, and this scooter fits her now, but it won't in a few months, as the handlebars do not adjust (c'mon Razor! Why not?). She is in love with this thing, and I find it so fun myself that I went ahead and bought myself a Trikke scooter in my own size. I anticipate this PowerWing being passed to a younger cousin before the school term is up, but for now it is a favorite item. My daughter is having a blast.

Warning: This takes some practice. But once kids get going, it's quite fast, and if you live around hills, please make sure your kids have helmets and pads on, as accidents are common. Turning needs to be done carefully!

We bought this scooter on sale. At its regular price, I would complain mightily about the lack of adjustable handlebars, which they really should have, and about a general lack of sturdiness. Smaller kids probably won't stress this so much, but bigger kids will easily bust this thing up in no time. The "wings" where the feet rest are made of plastic, and the caster wheels are tiny. One feels the bumps and other irregularities on sidewalks and street quite fiercely.

For a mere $20 to $40 more, depending on what one pays for this thing, one can get the smallest 5-inch wheel Trikke, which is quite similar in terms of how it works, and the Trikkes are very sturdy, very well made little machines. For kids such as my daughter there are Trikkes that cost around twice as much (their middle school and high school model with six-inch poly wheels) that seem much sturdier and safer than the PowerWing.

Not every kid takes to this type of scooter. It requires a fair amount of sustained practice and effort. The kids who will love it and use it likely will outgrow it and want to move on to a Trikke or a similar model.

What is the difference between the Razor PowerWing Caster Scooter (Black) and the Powerwing Deluxe? It is difficult to find this information, but here is what I have determined:

1) Color The original only comes in Black and Pink (as far as I know), while the Deluxe is chrome, green, and black. I thought the chrome color scheme was more fitting for a toy that would be used equally between brother and sister.

2) Build Strength The Deluxe appears to be sturdier than the standard model.

3) Handle Bars The Deluxe has adjustable handle bars, though both of my kids prefer the handle bars at the top most position anyway.

4) Size the Deluxe is slightly larger in every way.

I bought this for my 8-year old daughter's birthday. She wasn't expecting it, but she loves it. Her 10-year old brother uses and enjoys it as well. They both love the fact that you can make it go without pushing off from the ground like a regular scooter... even though it doesn't go very fast. That's not the important part to them.

Don't worry about the weight limit. I weigh 220 pounds and I ride the thing all the time. I'm not gentle when I ride it either! I'm not sure where Razor got their weight limit recommendation from... but it is extremely conservative.

You need a flat surface for this scooter! It is not meant to be going up or down hills. Okay... maybe down gentle hills. The Powerwing really only shines on a flat, smooth surface. We are somewhat lacking in this requirement, but believe it or not my kids enjoy riding even within the confines of an empty 2-car garage. Unlike us, people living in warm climates with those flat, wide, concrete driveways will be all set.

The build quality is very good and very strong. I only wish the brake lever attached in a more flexible manner. It comes installed for the left hand and, though technically correct, it feels weird to me. I figured I could just swap it to the right hand. Nope. In order to do this you would have to remove the grips, which are glued on. It would have been a simple matter to design the brake attachment to make it customizable, but Razor failed to foresee this low hanging fruit.

Overall though, don't hesitate to purchase... this thing is really enjoyable to ride.
