Master Chain Tool with Peening Anvil Review
It's expensive, but it works like a charm. I just got it and tested it on some links that I removed from a SRAM chain. My old Park tool was very difficult to turn to push out the pins. I would have to put a vise-grip on the handle to turn the screw. It would get the pin out with great difficulty, but would bend the tool handle and mangle the removed link. I dreaded using that tool. This tool is a completely different experience. It's easy to turn the handle to push the chain pin out and nothing gets bent. Very fun to use and an excellent design; viewing ports to see how much of the pin has been pushed out and the base that hold the chain is shaped like a chain link to hold the chain precisely where it should be located. I love this tool and Park tools in general.

Park Tool Bearing Tool Set for BB30.3 Bottom Bracket Systems Review
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $41.29
Sale Price: $36.95
Today's Bonus: 11% Off

My FSA ceramic bearing froze up on the right side bottom bracket from water bottle fluids accumulating behind the seal and with the Park Tool removal and installation of the BB bearings was so simple with the one tool and a rubber mallet. Saved a lot of time!
The blue fitting ring is a perfect help for centering the tool.
THe handle has a metal head for hammering, so it will last a long time.
1) Removal of bearings was straight forward.
2) With the two large metal bushings (included) installation was also a snap. Purchase a 1/2" x 5" bolt to compress the bearings with the aid of the bushings. They will go in straight as an arrow.
Save yourself the $100's and do not buy the overpriced compression tools for Park Tools and others. Unless you are full time professional mechanic, this is more than you will ever need.

Reviews of Shimano Nexus SG-3C41 3-Speed Coaster Brake - 36H, Silver, w/Revo
Service was great and product was shipped out and arrived as promissed. I had some questions I submitted by email and niagara Cycle was prompt in getting back to me. I took my bike and the hub down to the bike store and they mounted it up and rebuilt the wheel. It works better than I expected. The sproket it came with was a little bigger than most with 19 or 20 teeth. This made the hill clibming much better and comparable with an external derailer. I have another 3 speed for my wife I bought online and it is not as good on steep hills (even though must add that my flywheel at the pedal is a bit smaller too so that also contributed). I am really happy with the purchase.
Mounting was just like a regular hub but needed to route and secure the shifter cable. Extremely easy with black zip ties (and stylish and not included just so you know). The handlebar shifter clamped on perfectly and the rear actuator locked right onto the axle. The only change I made was to buy a rear gear for the chain that had the same number of teeth as the original hub and lock that on before bolting the hub/wheel to the bike.
Adjusting it was a snap and now the bike has a gear above and below stock and rides like a dream. She loves it and it looks like the bike came with it from the factory. A Schwinn Cali Cruiser for a small amount of money and a little work.
I definitely recommend.

This 3-speed hub upgrade was easy to install and has worked perfectly since installation. The only adjustment I had to make was the preset cable length.Best Deals for Shimano Nexus SG-3C41 3-Speed Coaster Brake - 36H, Silver, w/Revo
I have this Hub on two of my bike now and can't say anything bad about it at all. Smooth shifting and makes for a better ride on my beach cruiser.Honest reviews on Shimano Nexus SG-3C41 3-Speed Coaster Brake - 36H, Silver, w/Revo
Ordered this item as replacement for my wife's gear system that malfunctioned. The instructions were nice, but it took over 3 hours to install. Otherwise worked like a charm.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Shimano Nexus SG-3C41 3-Speed Coaster Brake - 36H, Silver, w/Revo
It only had a single speed so she didn't ride it. She loved the bike and its style, but just one gear was a pain. So we looked for options to just selling the bike and saw this. I had a regular bike shop swap out the hubs so they could get a good true and proper spoke tightening. Took them the old wheel and picked it up a week later all ready to mount back on the bike.Mounting was just like a regular hub but needed to route and secure the shifter cable. 3T Accelero 40 Pro Wheelset Review

List Price: $724.99

3T wheels look great! Spin nice and ride well. This is a nice aero wheel set without dumping a bunch of money. Not the lightest set (not a bad thing), and the ride is very nice with the little wider rim. I have only rode them for a short time so I can't give an in depth review but I'm very happy with what I've seen so far!

Cheap Kolpin 1487 Rhino Full-Tilting Windshield

There is no way to safely operate a Rhino without eye protection at speeds over ten miles per hour, due to bugs and other airborne debris flying in the faces of passengers. We haven't found a practical way to protect our grandchildren with glasses or goggles, so the windshield is a must. In hot weather, a full-coverage windshield without a kick-out feature is also essential, not only for comfort, but to preserve the "off road" experience. My research led me to believe that this product is the best solution for the money.
I found the construction and quality to be well above my high expectations, but had to do a double-take on some of the installation instructions, including correcting a miscue where I installed both Lexan panels backwards because there is no description or clear picture showing which way the curved edges are supposed to go. Not a big problem to correct, since it can be done without having to remove the brackets on the ROP structure. I was surprised at the recommendation for the employment a torque wrench that is calibrated down to the 5 foot-pound value specified for most fasteners, but am confident that my installation without one worked fine (there is a description of how to tell when the approximate torque value has been achieved).
If you have a Rhino and care about your eyes, you need one of these Koplin Windshields!
Got the unit on time. packaging was great, no problem. The unit fit right on with no problems. Took me about an hour to install by myself, but it would have been much easier with two sets of hands. The windshield works great. It will adjust to let more or less air in the cab as needed, very easily. I have no complaints with this purchase.

We love this windshield. Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Allows a decent amount of air flow when opened wide open and closes off air flow when closed. I would definitely recommend.Best Deals for Kolpin 1487 Rhino Full-Tilting Windshield
This is the 4th windshield for my 06 Rhino, I'm hard on them, so I needed a unit that would hold up to no only brush and rough terrain but the Rhino being hauled on the road at 70 mph. The Koplin seems to handle all of this just fine.Got the unit on time. packaging was great, no problem. The unit fit right on with no problems. Honest reviews on Kolpin 1487 Rhino Full-Tilting Windshield
Install took about an hour. Instructions was not very friendly. Glad it came with pictures. Like other reviews, the windshield rattles at low rpm between the upper and lower pieces. If you open it up about an inch, the rattle quits and the air goes over your head so you don't even feel it. But still thinking about putting some type of latch to join them solid when closed. To me not an issue, but wanted to mention it. Other than that, love it.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Kolpin 1487 Rhino Full-Tilting Windshield
I received this product fast but that was because of Amazons' prime account which is defiantly handy when you want free 2 day shipping. I haven't really went out on the trails to test it out yet but I did install it and do a short test ride I can tell you that installation was not hard the instructions were alright you will have to look and read every step more than once but overall they were good enough for a do it yourself install. I recommend to have a extra set of hands it'll make it that much easier. The only time consuming part of the install is alignment making sure your gaps are good and everything is level, there is room for play. On the test ride the only thing I noticed is where the top window meets with the bottom it does shake and make noise over bigger bumps and rough terrain, it's not really a big issue but it is there. I haven't tested the scratch resistant qualities yet but I will say it looks like it will hold up well and for the brackets on the top windshield for the tilt mechanism they look like a strong and sturdy set up which I'm glad they are not flimsy. I don't think they will break or wear out. The tilt takes a matter of 5 second to go from closed to full tilt which is nice and the wind doesn't hit you directly in the face unless you're probably 6' or taller that's good for bugs and other things you might run into on the trails but all in all I am happy with this product thus far and if I had more riding time with it I probably would have giving it 5 stars so hope this helped.Wednesday, January 22, 2014
Review of Shimano BB-ES25 Octalink V2 Bottom Bracket
I had to replace the bottom bracket on my 2010 Hardrock because it was creaking, so I got this one, which is what came stock on my bike.
Well, it worked fine for maybe a month before it started creaking like the old one.
If you are thinking about replacing your bikes bottom bracket by yourself and are thinking about this one, don't get it. Save time and money and invest in a good external bottom bracket, and possibly a new crankset.
I thought replacing mine with this one would last at least a year. Nope. It really is that bad.
Update:I am an idiot. Played the odds hoping I would get a good one. Third time is not a charm. These ES25's are junk. The third one started to creak on the first ride. I don't want to drop another $50 to change crank styles so I am going to try the ES51. If this fails I will never use Shimano crap ever again. SRAM is the way to go. I have converted all my other components to SRAM accept the crank and BB. Shimano Sucks.

Needed a bb for an old alivio octalink crankset that was going on a bike with a smaller bb shell. Not a huge fan of octalink, too heavy but much better than square tapers.Best Deals for Shimano BB-ES25 Octalink V2 Bottom Bracket

The shipping is a little high for a single tube, but is the same if you buy a bunch. Effectively some of the lowest price tubes on the net. I picked up a 12 pack and couldn't be happier. These are way better than using extenders on my 58mm wheels. These are durable enough to put a lot of miles on as well. Smooth valve saves my pump too. Shipping was fast, even w/o Prime!Best Deals for Kenda 700X18/23 (27X1) Pv 80mm, Smooth Valve
The item looks great and should work better than my too short stems I recently used. Still no flat so I haven't used the item yet.
