Q-Tubes Super Light 650c x 18-23mm 60mm PRESTA Valve Tube Reviews
Hard to find size tube for training bike. They installed on my wheels with new tires in a flash. 6 months later and 800 miles they are still holding air. These tubes work. They are fairly inexpensive and they do a good job. The only thing is the stem is quite long, however, it doesnt hurt anything other than it looks too long.

Review of Shimano Altus Mountain Bike Front Derailleur - Multi-Clamp
I replaced my old front derailleur on my Next Wal-Mart brand mountain bike. Now my bike shifts great. Smooth, immediate, and quiet. Perfect upgrade at a great price for all those department store name brands that have cheap parts . I matched up this product along with the Shimano ST-EF50 Acera EZ Fire Plus 7 Speed Shift and Brake Lever combo with V Brake and the Shimano Tourney RD-TX71 Rear Derailleur w hanger.
Quality is pretty good, easy install, and works just fine.

I purchased a Shimano Altus FD-M311 Front Derailleur so I could use a mountain crankset on my road bike, and the Altus was really cheap, but great quality, and the thing shifts very easy and smooth. The Altus was very easy to install and set up and it worked without flaw. I could of spent a lot more, but why, the thing works great, what a great improvement. It's as functional as the Sora front derailleur I replaced, so if your wanting a very functional front derailleur that won't kill your budget, I'd highly recommend the Altus.Best Deals for Shimano Altus Mountain Bike Front Derailleur - Multi-Clamp
This seems to be a great low end product. I'm not a professional bike racer or great off trail rider so why spend like one. I've been rolling with it for a few weeks now, shift good handle the stress I put on it So what more could I want?Honest reviews on Shimano Altus Mountain Bike Front Derailleur - Multi-Clamp

I purchased the Pro Ultimate online 3 weeks ago. Observations: 1) Assembly 80 min. 2) Can be used by adults (250 pound wt. limit); easily adjusted to my 5'5" height. 3) This bike is for flat terrain ONLY and maybe very gentle slopes. 4) NOT for endurance or high fitness riding; there are no gears (picture Fred Flintstone!). However, it does glide well. 5) A great neighborhood cruising-type bike, and perfect for what I wanted it to do: light to moderate exercise AND being able to run the dog alongside for exercise. 6) Disappointment: after less than 3 weeks of riding about 5 miles per week, both back tires had to be replaced. One blew out and was worn down to the "mesh" all along the center zone. The other was almost as bad. Both back tires were of very poor quality. Customer Service gave me a partial credit towards new tires from a local bike shop, but this did not quite cover the whole cost. However, I did not want to hassle with returning the bike, especially since I thought I would get the same awful tires....and I liked the bike itself. Bottom Line: great for cruising on flat terrain, and perfect for exercising both the dog and a middle-aged fairly out-of-shape rider.....excellent stability since you are low to the ground........but you will most likely have to replace the tires.
Otherwise, a nice little machine easily assembled.

This bike is obviously for the very casual rider not for any serious rider. Just the fact that it is a fixed gear ratio limits your top speed to somewhere around 3~4 mph. Even with that understanding, this bike is disappointing. With all the riders weight on the rear two wheels, there is virtually no weight on the traction wheel. The result is that the bike can't climb any sort of grade especially if the roadway is at all damp or sandy. The steering mechanism also gives the bike an absurdly large turning radius. These two facts really render the bike useless even for casual riding.Best Deals for Mobo Triton Pro Ultimate Three Wheeled Cruiser
Only complaint I have with the Triton Pro is that even on dry pavement, with an adult, the front drive wheel will lose traction on a 5%+ incline. The weight distribution needs to be slightly increased over the front wheel. Perhaps by mounting the rear axle a couple of inches further back.Otherwise, a nice little machine easily assembled.

I bought this bike because i need exercise and i have a bad knee. The bike is not fast but it didn't need to be. i just needed to get out of my chair at lunch, and ride. Walking put a lot of strain on my knee because of my weight, but riding seemed like the thing to do. Besides the exercise i'm getting, it's fun. The bike is a little small but it works for me. If i were to do it again, i would buy the 20 inch model.Tuesday, February 18, 2014

I love my EWheels trike. I got it a few months ago and yes, it took about 10 days but its sent on a truck from another state..
Anyway, I had one issue and I called service and within 24 hours they called me back and a nice man walked me through the "fix".
I got the trike because of balance issues and its perfect for me. I take it to the store and recently road it on the boardwalk next to the beach.
I love my trike.
Steve, at ewheels, during his rantings said he had sold over 100 tyrykes in the last month. That is doubtful, because if he give the service to those others he gave tro me, there wouldhave been a lynching in Phoenix,Arizona! As a remedy for the shipping or lack thereof. When the vendor states the theitem has been shipped require that they supply you with a PRO number and the truckers name. It wojuld be an easy task to find out what is going on,especially if the trucker's namechanges likemine did, from unknown small tricker to Estes Express. No Payment to the vender until PRO submitted. That would also stop the billing ofthe customer 10 days before the item is shippe.

The problem I had was with High5scooters. They never answer the phone in my experience I always got voice mail and they never returned my messages. They also do not answer emails. I actually was putting the charge in dispute when when the trike finally arrived after weeks of waiting. After my wife tipped it over the fuse flew when I tried to ride it home. I called (voice mail only again from both parties) and emailed High5scooters and the EW importer/manufacturer Ewheels Mobility Scooter asking about replacement fuses. of course none of the phone messages or emails were answered. I found the fuses on-line from another vendor and ordered 5 of them for about $14.00 including shipping.
I first tried to find a shop that would work on electric tricycles/bicycles. There are none in the Dallas Ft.Worth area. I could ship it back to the vendor for repair at great expense of crating and shipping Since I am an electronics tech with extensive knowledge and experienced in industrial AC and DC motor operation and repair I decided to attempt to fix it myself. I quickly located the problem by inspection. The front cable going into the motor had been badly abraded. It is a short pigtail that plugs in on one end and is hard-wired into the motor. Since the manufacturer and vendor will not return emails or phone calls, it will be very difficult to obtain a replacement cable as the original is not repairable. I hope the manufacturer will eventually return my calls and/or emails: if not, I have an $1100.00 pile of trash.
I give the trike 4 stars on apparent quality. I give the vendro and manufacturer 0 stars for customer service for an average of 2 stars.
DO NOT BUY THIS TRICYCLE UNLESS YOU HAVE LOCAL SUPPORT. IF IT BREAKS, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET IT SERVICED.

My ew88 was not shipped until almost 10 days after the shipper, EWheels out of Arizona said it was shipped. I wasformed by Amazon that the shipper cojuld not be tracked. WRONG! eWheels only said that so they could be paid early. When it was shipped, it was by Estes Express and I gtracked it all the way. The second prob lem was also with shipping. The tryke was held in Orlando, 70 miles fromthe final delivery point from it's arrival on Friday, until Wednesday of the next week! Now as for the tryke. Once uncrated, I charged the battery. Once charged I went for a ride, a short one, as the gears onthe seconday drive fell off, causing me tolose the chain on the secdary drive and also to lose all pedal power. I called Ron Spurlock of Medical Department Stores only to be told he wojuld hav e ewheels cantact me for a resolution. That was 10 days ago. Since that time I heard what I expected to hear . . . nothing! Every body got their money, that is wh6y ewheels billed it 10 days before it shipped, to they get paid before hand and don't worry about customer service. The last thing I HEARD from ewheels, a Steve, was that "if I didn;t like his service I could stick it where the sun don't shine, I got my money!" So,in order to have a ridable tryle, something Medical Department Stores and eWheels couldn't care less about, I took mytryke to a local shop to have the tryke components inspected and repaired. They did at a cost of $250. And gthe reverse still does not operate.Steve, at ewheels, during his rantings said he had sold over 100 tyrykes in the last month. I did not buy my wife's trike from an Amazon vendor but thought I would write a review to warn others. I bought mine from High5scooters (a non-Amazon vendor). The supplied seat was terrible. I replaced it with a quality one from Amazon. Actually I thought the trike was pretty well made. It does have a high center of Gravity (CG) and will tip over on turns easily if you take them too fast. My wife tipped over taking a turn too fast (in spite of my warnings to her), the trike fell on top of her and she suffered a fractured skull, concussion, broken cheekbone and broken arm. She was very luck and is doing well. None of this was the fault of the trike, it was operator error. The problem I had was with High5scooters. Honest reviews on Electric Tricycle Color: Blue
I have to agree with the negative reviews on this product that I've seen on Amazon. I purchased this trike in March 2012 and have nothing but trouble with it. It is a cheap Chinese made product without quality control. As previous reviews have stated their support is a joke. YOU, THE BUYER, ARE THE SUPPORT! Problems I have had are as follows, the pedals broke first because they are cheap plastic ones, the support center did send me some pedals, the same plastic type, I threw them away and went to WalMart and bought some good metal pedals. The rear basket does not fit to the frame well, fortunately there are holes drilled in the clasps so I was able to use cotter pins to hold down the basket. The front tire that came with it must have been a bad spare because shortly after receiving it, I had to replace it and the tube when the tire blew out. The fuse overheated and melted part of the plastic box containing the battery. I had to remove the burnt out fuse holder and replace it and the fuse. Later the battery connection broke off and I had to solder a good replacement connection to get the bike running again. Finally the bike literally broke. I was not racing or going fast (Thank God I wasn't), just making a left turn after the light changed and the frame broke throwing me up against the curb. It cost me $117.70 to have it welded and a lot of aggravation trying to deal with E Wheels Support (still haven't been reimbursed). Except for the plastic pedal I have not gotten any support even though the website states the EW 88 is guaranteed for 1 year. My advice is DON"T BUY FROM E WHEELS or their suppliers. Update Oct 18, 2012, finally received a check from E Wheels for the welding I had done ($117.70). However, now I have a NEW problem, the bearing on the offset axle went out. I noticed when riding I heard a thunking noise and upon investigation it was the bearing. My calls to E Wheel Support have gone unanswered.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Electric Tricycle Color: Blue
Item was back-ordered, which was not a big problem. But the frame was welded in a 'twist' which made steering impossible. The manufacturer did call us promptly, and we agreed that we'd have a local welder fix it if they would pay for the cost. Got it fixed locally, but the 'refund' check came about 4 weeks after they promised to send it. We are disappointed in the overall quality of the product, but since having the frame repaired and getting a more comfortable seat, we are enjoying it.Saturday, February 1, 2014

I have wanted to write this review for the Discount Ramps 3 Bike Hitch Rack for several weeks now, and it is finally raining so here we go. I took a very educated chance on the purchase of this rack after having studied just about everything that was available for the money and with the types of conveniences that this rack affords me. In short, I love it. No single rack is perfect and I have had many and used many more over my 60 years of biking. I carefully studied the support structure of this device and I knew I wanted a 2 1/4 inch receiver and not a 1 1/4" inch as well as the extra separation for my bikes that a 3 bike carrier offers even though I am only using it for 2 bikes at a time. This rack is well thought out and nicely designed and constructed. I have driven at very high speeds with expensive bikes on it over bumpy roads and many loads and unloads. I love it! Could I make a few changes? Yes but they probably would be peculiar to my purposes alone. It is light, easy to remove, load and fold up behind my van or truck. It is extremely functional for other things not just a bike rack and secures the bikes extremely well. I thought I would be taking it on and off my van after each use but to the contrary, I just leave it on all of the time now because it folds up and accommodates the rear door so well with the fold down feature. It is rugged, clean with good welds and I have no reservation about recommending it.
There is one detail that needs to be mentioned. The three swinging arm bars (I only use the long and the short ones for bike separation of the 2 bikes leaving the middle space free) really need to have a lock nut put on the inside of the twist knob to keep from losing the whole assembly should you forget to tighten up the knob after you have removed your bikes and are just driving around. I have noticed they loosen up if not tightened and that can be a problem. I also use a small rag around the cross bar of the bikes where the shielded rubber clamp secures the bike. I find it helps protect the bike from any scratches when tight and should the rubber begin to wear. Also the instructions could be a little bit better concerning the swing arms and the swing arms do not have a part number for ordering separately. Easy fix!
I have one more thing of great importance here to mention. One of the three swing arms was missing from my order which I made through Amazon but the rack came from "Discount Ramps" in West bend WI. I called Discount Ramps to report the problem and was most cordially greeted and helped without reservation. 2 days later some parts arrived and I almost fell down at the mail box. No one it seems is this good at customer service anymore. Unfortunately there was a miss communication concerning the exact part. I called them back and wanted to know how to ship their part back. They would not hear of it and bingo.. 2 days later the right swing arm arrived along with another part. I was flabbergasted! These people are the absolute best! I cannot say enough about the great service I received from them and the great product they build. I figured I would have to wait 2 months for something to arrive from another land.
I am so happy with both the rack and the company I cannot say enough about them. Aside from the added lock nut in the handles, I cannot find anything but good things to say about this rack especially for the money. Highly recommend it and the company, Discount Ramps. Great rack, great price, and great service from everyone.

I have used this rack 15+ times. 3 cross country trips with 3 heavy early 90's Mtn. bikes in tow and is holding up quite well. The system is functionally very easy to use and adjust to fit bikes of multiple sizes. The materials are light weight and may not hold up for much of a beating. There is nothing out there that will touch this for the price. It also has the ability to swing down when lifting your rear hatch/tail gate etc...I guess the true test will be how long it holds up. The only real negative to me is the rubber that protects the bikes from the arms that hold them. Those busted within the first few uses.Best Deals for 3-Bike Adjustable Class III/IV Hitch Bicycle Rack

DT Champion 2.0 (14ga) Review
Who would have thought to look in Amazon for bicycle spokes! I currently live outside of the USA where there are very few options for such a specialized item as a 303mm X 2.0mm DT Swiss spoke. Anyway, the item arrived on time and is exactly what I ordered. I rebuilt my 18 year old hybrid rear wheel in about a day. Thanks Amazon!
If you want to talk about broken spokes, look at any of the machine built wheels coming out of Asia, and I'm lucky if I get one season before I have to rebuild the whole wheel with (you guessed it) DT Swiss straight gauge spokes...
I use it for my 26" Rhyno Lite rim on my Bionx hub motor. Due to my weight and baggage and speed and poor road conditions and daily use, I break spokes a lot. Thought it was better to get 100 spokes for 45 dollars than 26 spokes for the same price at my local bike shop.

DT Swiss is my go-to brand for spokes. These are just the basic straight gauge, and I do prefer double butted when available (affordable) due to the better strength-to-weight ratio, but straight gauge DT has never let me down. I've wrecked wheels, failed rims, and broken alloy nipples, but never had a material failure of the DT spoke itself. Considering the flotsam of broken bike parts that I have left in my wake, this complete lack of critical failure for such a common part is something to be noted. If you want to talk about broken spokes, look at any of the machine built wheels coming out of Asia, and I'm lucky if I get one season before I have to rebuild the whole wheel with (you guessed it) DT Swiss straight gauge spokes...

Good quality stainless steel spokes that are flexible enough to get them in position but hard enough to handle the load. Brass nipples are nice because you don't have to worry about them forming a permanent bond with the spokes due to corrosion. I would recommend these to a friend.Honest reviews on DT Champion 2.0 (14ga)
