Bought the trike for my son. He is unable to ride a 2 wheel bike. He told me that he was very happy with the trike. It seems easy for him to ride. The steering took a little time to get used to but he does fine on it now. The 'tools' that came with trike where cheap but I was not buying the tools. It was fairly easy to build, less than hour for me but I have build bikes before. I would add a red flag to this bike for it sits low and I did. I would tell any person looking at this trike that for a special needs child that is the bike for them.

These gloves are very comfortable and allow better use of fingers for fine tasks. They feel like a pair of fine driving gloves (as one user with the same complaint put it), but their advertising implies that they are for doing real work. The thin, soft, leather wears out very quickly when used where there is any significant friction or abrasion (e.g., handling firewood, shoveling dirt or gravel, handling a loaded wheelbarrow, picking up rocks, etc.). They are fine with smooth-handled tools, like polished metal or fiberglass, but wear out quickly when used with smooth, but weathered, wooden handled tools, for example. I will buy a replacement pair, but will be more selective about what I use them for.

I bought these gloves about a weekago. I work in a garage that specializes in tire installations etc...I thought these would be perfect. They fit great. I could type wearing them...lugnuts were no problem. The problem is they wore away on the fingers where i grip things. I'm very surprised the rest of the glove looks brand new. I tried the other mechanix gloves with the padded palms but those are just slightly too bulky, which is unfortunate. Imight try these again but im very leery about them wearing away again.. I might just cut away the fingers, but that seems like a waste to me. Oh well I suppose these gloves would be excellent for things such as raking, maybe gardening, or maybe engine work. But my overall impression it's a very good fitting, tight, workable glove, just don't work them too hard!

I had a pair of these (not the stealth style) and lost one of them so when I saw Amazon selling them for only 20 bucks I grabbed them.

They have excellent grip, are very comfortable and they look really cool. I use them for work, but I also use them sometimes for driving because they have such great grip. Mechanix makes great products very high quality.

Great gloves at a great price. I work on A-10s and needed something to reduce the hand beatings I get on a regular basis. These gloves arrived in record time from Amazon (thanks!). They fit very snugly to my hands (in a good way) and provide excellent dexterity. I am able to do wire repair and pick up coins with no problem.

Unfortunately, I was only able to get about two months out of them before a hole developed in the right thumb. It got progressively bigger over the course of a week before I decided to throw them away. Though they are not as durable as I would like them to be, I will be purchasing another pair to give them a second chance.

1st this lock is about 3.5 feet long not 5ft. You are getting a $3 lock. We use them for a quick lock up when running into a store or out to eat with the bikes, but I would not use it to lock overnight, for long time someplace, a bad area, or a place where you can not see your bike. Its a lock though, which is better then nothing. Fits great under the seat, easy to use numbers to open, not for a bike with removeable front wheel since I am not sure how else you would attach it to anything since it is so short!

The trike is wonderful. My only complaint is that it is difficult to keep the handlebars tight and they want to swivel without moving the front wheel fork. Teflon tape solved the problem for us

This is a generally high quality tricycle. Unfortunately upon opening the box, we were missing a couple of parts. Also important to know is that for some reason, the company elected to put the bolts, washers and locking nuts in the position where they would eventually be used rather than in the parts bag. This made no sense to me, but I happened to find them.

We have a tall 2 year old and this tricycle is too big for him right now. I would recommend a 10" if your child isn't at least 2.5 years old.

Outside of that, the tricycle is of high quality and will be well used for us in the near future.

I bought this for my 3 yr old b/c it was on sale and I only paid 27.54. That is about how much its worth. While it looks really good both in picture and in person, the build quality is poor.

1) this thing is heavy! I have no idea why the manufacturer chose this material instead of something lighter.

2) while the assembly is fairly easy and there are few parts, the fastening mechanisms are crude. For example, where the handlebar attaches to the frame, the clamp is of a poor design and loosen easily, even after repeated tightening. OK for use by my daughter but easily turned (misaligned) by some of the older kids in the neighborhood.

3) Poor wheel design. The wheels feel loose as the axle does not ride smoothly in the axle tube. This goes the same for the fronts as well. Using bearings or even better plastic bushings would've helped

Overall, the quality of the tricycle is poor. For what I paid, I'm ok with it but for the listed $75, look elsewhere.

I want to tell anybody reading this that this is a great tricycle. It is of a strong, almost only metal construction. My only concern concerning construction is the fork for the front wheel. The last inch or so of the fork on both sides is plastic. I can see the purpose of it (a bushing for the shaft of the front wheel), but I would think that there would be a way to make it of metal construction and put a plastic bushing inside the metal construction. In spite of that, I feel this trike is a good choice, far better, of course, than any of those plastic things that they call tricycles. This trike is well strong enough for me (160 pounds) to step on the rear deck and ride there. I almost feel comfortable (concerning durability) to sit down on the seat. It's only the front plastic forks that concern me there.

As a summary, this is it. If you are looking for a strong, sturdy trike that will last and not tip easily, you have got to get one of these, a Classic Flyer made by Kettler.

When we received the trike I really thought I had bought the radio flyer brand and my husband was all ready to return it, however, our son had such a fit because he saw the picture of the bike on the outside of the package that he relented and decided to put it together. We were not disappointed! My mother had accidentally backed over our son's previous bike which was a radio flyer so I know the quality and this is just as good. Our son zooms around on his bike and just loves it! So as long as he's happy and this bike lasts a long time, we're happy.

i love my bern brentwood helmet. it's totally functional and lightweight and durable and fits on your head in a way that doesn't look stupid. i get a lot of compliments on the way it looks.

the visor thing is cool too. you can either have a detachable mini-visor to help shield sun and rain or take it off.

it's not super cheap but it's well worth the value. and if you're able to find it used or discounted, there's really no excuse not to get it.

After hours...days...looking for just the right helmet the Bern Brentwood was my top pick. It's super light, has a removable visor (held in by really strong push buttons), and a built in size adjuster belt-clip type mechanism so it's easy to fit. I'm new to biking, so I was very self-conscious about how I'd look with a helmet (it's new york city, you've can't look lame ;-)). The brentwood looks great, and feels like it covers my ENTIRE head without feeling bulky.

Oh, and if you measure your head and are sort of between sizes, get the one size bigger as the built in adjustment works really well.

I never understood why bike helmets looked so dorky for so many years (yeah, I'm talking to you, Giro). Glad to see that companies are now making helmets for the skater/skier/BMXer extreme athlete in all of us. Even if we are just cruising the streets on a MTB. Comfortable fit, very lightweight. I can't find anything wrong with it, to be honest.
