We bought this scooter for my daughter's 6th birthday last winter. I found it in a store for 75% off and only paid about $20 for it. She couldn't wait for winter to be over and rode it every day. No one in the neighborhood had the same scooter with the sparks and light up wheels. It looks much cooler at night. Just last week someone stole her scooter after ten months of riding it and she loved it so much, we had to replace it. She uses this scooter more than her bike, skateboard, or anything else. The sparks will last a while if they don't overdo it. She used the sparks alot at first but now only uses it to show off to other kids. There is a marker that tells you when you need to replace the cartridge. In ten months we were just about to buy a new cartridge before it was stolen. Everything else was very durable and we had no problems with it. The wheels looked just as great after daily use as they did when the scooter was new. She rides it to and from school everyday, to all her friends houses, and on our daily walks with our dog. I don't know anyone that uses their scooter as much as my daughter, plus she does all kinds of tricks, and it still held up very well. I would definetly recommend any razor scooter, especially this one. My daughter loves all the attention she gets on it, especially from the "big kids" who tell her how cool her scooter is.

sturdy, well made, daughter loves it ~ purchased as open box for $53 & was perfect condition & better price than $70-80 new so feel this was a good deal. spark/flint cartridges do not last long but that was expected

We bought this scooter for my son's 5 year birthday. He loves it. The scooter seems well made and it does light up quite a bit. I have no complaints with the scooter whatsoever. However, I really feel that Razor customer service was poor. I received my scooter without an extra spark cartridge (which is advertised on the box as being included with the scooter). When I called customer service to ask them to send me my replacement cartridge, they refused. They said they do not offer this any more and the scooter only should come with one cartridge. Well, this is flat out lousy service in my opinion. Razor claims (when you call them) that they pride themselves on excellent customer service. Their actions do not reflect their words. I would buy this product again, as it is a quality product--just don't expect Razor to do the right thing if you ever have to call them.

My 6 yr old asked for this last Christmas. He was thrilled to get it, but honestly his older sister uses it more. The scooter itself is nice. I LOVE that it folds up for easy storage. It seems fairly durable-owned it almost a year and still in very good shape. The sparks are fun, but the kid riding the scooter has to look behind them to see the sparks. Not exactly a good idea for younger kids. Usually the kid not riding the scooter enjoys the cool sparks and the kid riding doesn't even see them. Overall, it's a good purchase just not quite as exciting as we had imagined.

Only the models with 16T or more are standard ISO thread, which is what flip-flop hubs have. 15T and less are for M30 thread, which is only on weird BMX bikes.

I have a formula flip flop hub and I am in the middle of having a terrible time removing this freewheel. The removal tool does not fit over the inner axle nut and removing the inner axel nut is proving to be a close to impossible task since you need to leverage against a second inner axel nut, but you cannot get your wench over the second inner axle nut because the freewheel covers it.

I used this on a Flying Pigeon PA-02, replacing the stock 18T freewheel and dropping the gear-inches to make hitting the hills easier.

It went on perfectly, and runs without a hitch. The three locking pawls make for fast engagement, no more than maybe 5-8 degrees at the crank.

The ratcheting action of the three pawls is incredibly smooth. Unloaded my wheel will spin upwards of a minute with a single pedal stroke. Click-a-click-click.

No problems otherwise after 300-500 miles in a cold-dusty environment, and one full immersion in water. (whoops)

I had a saddle I liked and an expensive CNC alloy seat post left over from an old bike project, and wanted to use the combo on a new project based on a different frame. Problem was that the new frame had a larger-diameter seat tube than the old frame. Sure, I could have bought a new and equally-expensive (approximately $30) alloy seat post of the right diameter; but I'm a thrifty guy. So, I looked around and found this adapter. I forget exactly what it cost (about $5, I think). I could have cut up some aluminum beverage can to make a free shim, but it would have looked cheesy and been mechanically questionable. This shim is solid and reliable.

This shim is beautifully designed and made. It has a lip at the top to prevent it slipping down when the clamp is loosened to adjust seat height. It also serves as trim to conceal the top edge of the seat tube, which usually would show chipped paint and rust. The visible part of the shim is a perfect match for the alloy seat post it surrounds, making it more attractive than a right-sized seat post would be. Highly recommended.

I bent my ugly and dorky mini-ape hangers that came on my bike in a low-side crash (diesel spill) and I knew that drag bars wouldn't clear my tank without risers, sort of ruining the point, so I heard about euro bend handlebars, and from a fit, comfort and strength point of view these are actually really great. Unfortunately, whatever was used to make them black is not powder coating, it is a thin rubbery plastic-like coating that easily gets scratched. My clutch mount carved a long ribbon of the stuff off going on and my left hand grip folded up what was left. It looks OK with everything on but I have no idea if it is going to corrode under there or what and I wish I had spent the few extra bucks for a powder coated bar.

Discount Pink Bicycle Car Valve Caps Light Tyre Wheel Neon LED Lamp

The core of the plastic piece is pink as in the picture however, when the light is activated, it flashes blue. I've seen another reviewer saying their light is red so it seems they vary. I would not have purchased a flashing blue strobe as that is of questionable legality in many areas.
