As someone who has had multiple dangerous chain failures in the past, I don't want to skimp on this part of my bicycle. So when my last chain became damaged due to broken teeth on the rear casette, I decided to invest in the Shimano Ultegra 9-Speed chain. It appears to be the best chain I have yet used. While it has only been a few months since my purchase, I have been quite pleased its smooth drive and shifting operation. There appear to be no flaws in its design or manufacture. For comparison, the chain is approximately 0.5 mm narrower than my eight speed chain (6.2 mm instead of 6.7mm) it replaced. The true test will come after a few years in inclement weather. Meanwhile, I recommend this product.

Smooth operation

Yet another well-made Shimano product. I had 3,000 miles on my drivetrain and was starting to experience stiff links. The standard loosing techniques didn't work so it was time for the chain to go. The new Shimano chain worked like a charm, restoring drivetrain performance and general shifting smoothness.

Be sure to get the chain length right. Zinn and various online videos offer instructions and helpful tips. Also, a chain tool is necessary to complete the job.

Overall, a good value for a critical component of bicycle performance.

This chain does not have a quick release link and comes strink wrapped to a piece of cardboard. You will need a chain break tool to push the pin in. I have no complaints with this chain, it was perfect for my build. I removed no links and it seemed to be exact length I needed. I built a 3x9 rigid bike with standard 3x9 Shimano gearing if that helps.

Honest reviews on Shimano XT 9-Speed Chain

This chain was exactly what I wanted at a good price. It comes with thorough installation instructions. There is a backward and incorrect way to install the chain, so make sure that you read the instructions carefully.

I have a 1999 Team Fuji and I'm replacing the chain for the first time @ over 10,000 miles. I have a also have a pro built Scandium Fuji Team and the HG-93 has gone nearly 12,000 miles on that one. Additionally, I have a Trek carbon road bike where the chain has also gone nearly 12,000 miles !!!! I don't ride in the rain and I PRO GOLD lube/wipe my chains on the bike every 250-500 miles. I expected to be getting ~1,500 miles on these chains so I have been astounded at how long they've gone. I use a Park Chain checker and I could still push these bikes a bit more. But I'm off to put on new HG-93's on each of these three bikes. I am totally impressed by these chains. I've never broken one. I won't be

"upgrading" to 10 speed, 11, or any other thinner chains....

Hello

Very nice cassette for the money but it's not Chorus quality. The main reason for the purchase was for it's ratios, I do not need an 11 or 12 tooth cogs. I rather not use compact drive-train as less teeth usually means quicker wear. I wish Campy would offer real world ratios, as I rarely ever need anything bigger than 53x15.

Also, I strongly recommend using a Campy chain.

I've paired it with a non campy chain ... works but nothing like the smooth and precise action of the Chorus cassette and chain.

Thanks

Sandro

It is about the only brand and size of tire I can find for my vintage 1975 Honda CB 360T (not many choices out there), good price and I am fairly happy with it, except it lasts a mere 8,000 miles of normal, not wild, city riding on this motorcycle.

Last September my Plymouth Van died that is when I purchased a 1980 Kawasaki KZ-440B1 to ride. Upon taking possession of this motorcycle I noted what was on it for rubber and both front and rear were GS-11's by IRC. At first I checked locally at all the motorcycle shops and tire stores everyone carried tubeless but none of the tube type persuasion for a Kawasaki KZ-440B1. That is when I looked online and found this tire listed on Amazon.

Since I lacked spin balance equipment I had the local Kawasaki Honda shop do the work for me. The bike tracks through turns like a dream. A great tire made for and by great people like you and I. I plan to get a few backups for the future. I hope IRC keeps building these for folks like myself.

Please, Please do not purchase this product it is awful. I purchased this for my daughter's birthday and gave her a skate party and would you believe the things broke 30 minutes after putting theme on for the first time. My daughter fell and was injured because the wheels completely broke off.

I would not recommend this product to anyone. First of all they're described as "unisex", but when I received them, they were in a mens size. The second and most important reason I would not recommend these skates is the poor quality. I ordered these for my daughter and two friends as Christmas gifts. It is now only two weeks into January, and two of the three pairs ordered are already broken. Some of my daughter's other friends received the same brand of skates for Christmas as well, and most have broken as well. Save your money!

This is a great inexpensive skate if you are just using them to skate around in. However I do roller derby and the wheels are extremely slippery when I go around turns. The skate overall is really good. Just those darn wheels need to be replaced.

I bought these skate for my daughter, she wanted to try it out and I didn't want to spend much money in case she didn't like it. I also bought a pair of nicer speed skates for myself and we hit the rink. The Bullet's boot is not a bad one for the price. The wheels are total junk though, they are made from really cheap plastic and offer no grip indoors, After 2 times at the rink, I replaced them with some nice Sure-Grip (made in USA) Zoom wheels. That helped a little but she kept telling me that she felt like she was gong to fall backwards. I inspected her plates and compared to mine, they were at least 3/8 from the end of the heal which is far too short (mine go all the way to the end of the heel). Not very good at all for the beginner, the wheels should be centered over your heel. To far forward and it's not easy for the in-experienced. Also, the axles and trucks looked very cheap like they would break any minute. I'm not sure if any of the other sizes in this brand are that way but I assure you the size seven is and that's just a bad way for someone to learn to skate. So, being the handyman I am, I replaced her plates and trucks with some Sure-Grip probe nylons which are made in USA. The Zoom Wheels were 40 bucks and the plates were 54. Add that to the 50 bucks for the skates to begin with and maybe you all see my point here. The boot was the only useable part and it's vinyl, not leather. But hey, she has the nicest Bullet skates around! If I were you, I would buy something a little safer that's better built. I know that there are a lot of good reviews on this skate but then again their is also a lot of people who don't know better. You get what you pay for. If you want something better built, I would start with a set of skates from Sure-Grip. They make a nice speed skate with a leather boot and Probe plates with many different combinations of outdoor, indoor or outdoor indoor combination wheels starting at about 140.00. The main benefit is everything but the boot is made in USA and everything but the boot is guaranteed for life, not 30 days like the Chicago's are. I hope this helps.

I put these on my Fixie to ride on a paved bike trail. I am very happy with them after roughly 300 miles.

They hold air well and while not the liteist weight tyres out there, they are light enough.

They also were not a bear to put on. Some of the tyres I have used require heavy duty tools to get on.

Overall, so far, I am very happy with them.
