The tube, much to my surprise, is labelled the same as the old tube which came on my bike, KENDA, made in China. This is embossed near the stem, across from the stem is the Sunlite label in white. That doesn't bother me really, it's just a bit misleading, as this tube can't be too different from other tubes sold as Kenda's.

However, the valve core is removable which was not advertised, and that removable core is leaking air. I imagine once I replace the core it will hold up just as well as any other tube, this is just a disappointing amount of difficulty for what is usually a simple job.

Bought two of these and both failed in less than a week. These are very low quality Chinese made innertubes.

I installed a new tube, inflated the tube to 70 PSI and got on my bike. It was sagging a little so I inflated it to 80. I pulled the pump off the valve and BOOM out flies the valve of the tube. I could have put an eye out with that thing. From my experience, these tubes are worthless. Buy something else.

Pros:

while mounting and dismounting a pump so as to avoid breaking

the tubes presta head.

2) Sturdy tube wears well on road bicycles.

3) Smooth stem (rather than threaded) remains clean.

Cons:

1) Should be more widely available, it's a good tube.

I have about 400 miles on this tube and it is performing as expected, construction seems pretty good, somewhat thinner and lighter rubber compared to the Kenda tubes I was using. I have high end road bikes and pressurize to 115 psi usually. It's very important with these tubes to keep the valve stem straight/centered and if the tube comes with a knurled nut I wouldn't use it, if you tighten it too much it will rip the valve stem base. Fill and deflate new tubes 3 times to get them situated in the tire.
