good for mini-sized bikes (16") that come with coaster brake hubs. this wheel makes it a standard freewheel (spin on the back-pedal), which is great for having kids learn to use hand brakes, when they're available on that sized bicycle. In a word: it's an upgrade to the stock wheel on these little (junk) kid bikes. the sprocket is any standard threaded sprocket, and it does not come included.
the wheel came true. the lock nuts were too tight and needed backing-off a quarter turn or so. bearing grease was also almost non-existent. these adjustments are probably best made by your local bike shop, and are issues that happen to just about every pre-fab wheel of this price range. 20 minutes of adjustment, and your bike wheel is ready to roll.
