Review of SRAM Shifter X-9 Trigger
I bought these in hopes of improving shifting accuracy, and reducing lever effort as compared to the X-7's that came stock on my bike. I do believe that they require slightly less effort to shift, say about 10-15%, but that might also be my wishful thinking. As to the shifting accuracy, I would say less of an improvement, but still a slight improvement. Was it worth the ~$100 shelled out, and the time it took to install and dial them in (about 1 hour for both). I am undecided on that. As and upgrade to the X-7 it is very slight, and probably not worth it, but they are a good shifter, and if I was doing a build I would chose the 9's over the 7's, as the price difference is minimal.Never had any issues w/ Sram X.9 shifters. Great feel and quick shifts at a decent price. Would recommend to anybody.
