Review of Dimension Toe Clips & Straps

Dimension Black Toe Clip and Strap Set, Large/XL

Title pretty much says it all. I ordered five different sets of straps and clips lol but ended up keeping this one. I also ordered the Origin 8 chrome quad gate clips, the Dimension -I thinkplastic half clips, NJ5 MKS copy single gate clips and Hold Fast Foot Retention System FRS.

I like this Dimension set the best because they are the lightest and fit my size 8.5 feet very well. Even though I have small feet, I ordered the large size and it fits great. I run them with two black staps each and it's super comfy. The set comes with Wellgo nylon straps. I had a extra set of black nylon straps that came stock with my bike. Having loops for the second strap would be better but I found it's not essential. Finally, this set is by far the cheapest option. Oh they also look great with my all white frame which I didn't expect.

In terms of the other straps: In my opinion, the Origin 8's were too fancy and will get scratched up easily. The Hold Fasts were super duper sweet but they were heavier and didn't fit the look of my bike (more track/classic than freestyle, risers, etc.) and they also hung lower from the pedal and touched the ground when the pedal was down. If I were going for a freestyle look, I would definitely keep the Hold Fasts. Hold Fasts are also considerably more expensive at $60. The single gate metal clips were too small (I ordered the medium) and the half clips didn't cover enough of my foot not enough retention.

I would recommend this if you're looking for light, low cost, comfy, good looking clips and straps.

Very easy install and the perfect alternative to clipless pedals. Definitely felt a difference while using these toe straps. only downside is that one screw wants to slip through the plastic, but that I should be able to add a washer to fix that. Easy to strap on or off while riding. Satisfied with this product.

put these straps on shimano replacement pedals for spin bikes and they work perfect. easy to put on, easy to tighten and they they keep consistent tension without coming loose around the foot.

They fit good, had to modifiy the mount a bit due to my jacked up peddals, but other than that worked great. This is definately for the beginner cyclist but works well for a weekend warrior like me.

Fast shipping, great price, and true to the product description. Very little use in them so far but I am excited to use them throughout this season.

Nice design for a front light. Can mount pretty much anywhere. And for ~ $10 it's much brighter / more visible than most clip on single LED types (e.g. Knog)

If you are looking for a light just to ensure you are seen , this is a good one. It doesn't give off enough to see the road in front of you, but I don't think it was intended for that. I like the three modes so you can have it steady, flashing, or quick flashing. It was easy to put on . I have the same one in red for the back of my seat.

This is a great light. It is very visible from far. Has three modes constant, very quick flashes and slower flashes. Cars can see you well.

It mounted very securely, and easily, to my bike.

I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

I was looking for a light that would attach to my bike's head tube because my handle bars are not round. I mounted this light vertically and was expecting to have to use tie wraps to secure it. But I was pleasantly surprised when the supplied adjustable strap fit around my head tube. What a great use for the otherwise empty space. I had to break out the directions to figure out that you have to hold the on/off button down for a few seconds to turn it on and off, but switching between the 3 modes (steady, flash, random flash) occurs immediately after each button push once the light is turned on. Came with 2 AAA batteries too. Great light for being seen.

I wanted to replace a tricycle, because our son was wheeling downhill too fast for me and I wanted him on a more stable, less likely to tip over three wheeler. Now four and at 42" tall, he is just big enough to pedal it. He has a bit of a problem going up our slight hills, but I think that will improve as he gets taller. The adjustable seat works well, and overall is well made and easy to assemble. The flag makes him more visable, but I do not let him ride without me along side on my bike anyway. For me, it is the coolest looking Big Wheel out there. With two more adjustments left in the seat, there's plenty of room for him to grow.

My 2 sons needed the big wheel experience. For the education minded parents, they needed the thrill of their heightened imagination as they learned the laws of physics. This toy is perfect in size-1 child is 6y, 46.5 inches and has his seat placed in the last of the three settings with legs fully stretched. His feet arent trying to reach and yet he will still have plenty of room for more growth. I was nervous with the size since the box picture child is younger and the other brands build theirs more for nine year olds or the really tall kids. In stores, he never came close to reaching the others pedals. My 4y old is 44 inches and enjoys the seat at its second setting. He has his knees more bent and gets more leverage and control. The front tires softer red rubber adds the much appreciated extra traction that others neglect. The back are the typical smooth tires, not great for bigger inclines, perfect for big wheel spin outs. The first one took this mom with no power tools 40 minutes to assemble, the second one 20 minutes. Requires hammer, phillips screw driver and a cresent wrench or pliers. I think both is a plus for tightening. Simply achieved for ecstatic children.

I bought this for my son's 5th birthday and he loves it. I was a little hesitant due to the price versus some of the other "big wheel" bikes but I am so glad I decided on this one. It is very well made and sturdy. I like how easy it is to change the seat positions so my 7 year old daughter can ride it too. My son has mastered how to spin on this and he rides it everyday. I am happy that it has a safety flag on it too, these bikes are so low to the ground it helps cars see him and makes me feel that he is safer than the bikes without flags. I am extremely happy with this purchase and would recommend buying this bike.

Extremely well made and durable. Looks cool too. It is great on flat surfaces but it's hard to make it up a hill. Your weight is all on the back so the front wheel spins when you try to climb up slanted surface.

Holding up quite well since Santa brought them to two 5 year old boys. Grandma especially likes the tall flags on the back. Since they are low to the ground, this is great for visability.

My 5 year old son received the Big Wheel for his 5th birthday. After returning it once for missing parts I finally got it assembled. He loved it when we gave it to him UNTIL he tried to ride it. My son only weighs 46 lbs and upon sitting on it for the FIRST time the forks holding the front wheel collapsed and the bike folded. It was unusable. This is not the "Big Wheel" of my childhood. They were indestructibe (I tried when I was his age). I don't know how they can use the Big Wheel name. This is a cheap Chinese piece of dung. Target was gracious enough to return it for a full refund.

Now for the Radio Flyer. We bought this on Amazon for the same price the stores wanted, but with free shipping and no tax. Assembly wasn't that bad, just follow the pictures (no words). When my son rode it, he was like lightning!!! He loves it and rides it almost every day. He goes fast and turns to spin and laughs crazily. This bike is VERY stable and does not tip over, even at high speeds. It is very durable and actually has some METAL parts, I know, unheard of right?

Buy the "Radio Flyer" if you are even thinking about this kind of toy. You won't regret spending the extra few bucks.
