Kenda Road Bicycle Tube - 700 x 23/25 - Presta Valve Review

I purchased some 700 X 23 road Vittoria tires in October and put these tubes on underneath. One punctured within a couple of days, but I found out that I had failed to carefully inspect and clean the tire lining before I put the tire on and I found that the tire was punctured on the rim side....my bad. Repaired the tube, cleaned both wheel rims, remounted tubes and tires and have not had a problem in almost 400 miles of riding.

Finally, I got the right tire tube for my bike. I bought another brand (more expansive one) before, but I could never be able to keep that tire inflated -air came out immediately after I pumped it, with a manual or CO2 pump.

I like to use 48mm smooth value tubes on my bike. For some reason, bike stores in this area only stock 60mm threaded so I have to get them on line. I have been using Kenda tubes for years. They make a good product.

I've since switched to some thicker rubber but that is just because of where I ride. I'm sure they would have held up way better elsewhere.

These are carried by my LBS and are decently priced. I found them here at Amazon for cheaper! They come in the 60mm priests that I need for my Spinergy Stealth deep rimmed wheels. Hold air and are very light. I also like the smooth valve over a threaded one for my carbon rims.

My little neighbor kid is 21months old and absolutely loves this trike. He has a radio flyer trike he hates so, he comes over to my garage and helps himself to this awesome trike that I scored off of Craigslist for $30 bucks in Dec 2012. I have a 9month old boy and I can hardly wait to get him on it. My neighbor kid looks stylish and super comfortable in it. He can reach the pedals real nice and the trike is quiet when it's on the sidewalks and pavement.

Buy it... your kiddo will love it too :)

PS. it's got real chrome too!

This is the first trike or bike we bought new and I must say it was worth every penny! The wheels are all air-filled so it's a very smooth ride. It's also a silent ride because of that. This is the best feature. The wooden deck on the back is great for the stuffed animals that need a ride. I added a seatbelt for them. I don't remember the assembly being difficult at all... we've had it for a year. It is in perfect condition and the kids ride it every single day, rain or shine, snow or mud or hardwood floor. I haven't had to tighten anything on it. The seat is adjustable with a big plastic knob so no tools required. The only thing I think could be done a little better is that the decals come off. Purely cosmetic, but when such care was taken with everything else, you'd think a company would want their name to stay on it. I think Santa might bring us a blue one this year.

The tricycle is well built and sturdy with an attractive and functional design.

Clearly contrasts to mostly plastic offerings from competitors.

Rapidly became our son's favorite mode of transportation.

Honest reviews on Schwinn Roadster Tricycle - Red

We bought this tricycle for our 2 year old birthday and 1 1/2 years later my son still cannot ride it properly. We bought it because it looked well made and pretty cool (which it is) but it's very difficult to ride for a 2 year old. The seat is really far from the pedals so he couldn't reach them for a long time. Now he can reach them but since the pedals are in front of the seat instead of under it, he needs to pedal forward which takes a lot more strength and it's more difficult. I think this would be a good tricycle for older kids but now we are planning on buying a bicycle instead. It was a waste of money

Bought this Trike for my 25 month old tornado of a little boy(grandson) because it appeared to be well made, not plastic, and extremely "cool". It is very well made, simple to put together, and looks difficult to break in any way. It turned out to be a tad big for him even with the adjustable seat all the way forward, but he'll grow into it. He is a couple of inches shy of using the pedals but it didn't stop him from crashing about using "ground" propulsion. The child rides very low and the track width of the rear wheels makes it very stable and unlikely that even he can tip it over. This trike was the best one I could find when looking for something other than the cheap plastic looking stuff which seems to abound. While he has only had it several days, I can say this one is just about all steel and will last a long, long time. Pricewise, a good buy for a quality little trike. And, very "cool" and attractive as expected.

Best Wald Axle Mount Kickstand Deals

Wald Axle Mount Kickstand
Customer Ratings: 4.5 stars

First off, I don't know squat about kickstands and somewhat blindly (well, i knew the frame size) thought this would work for my wife's bike. Apparently it's for tiny bikes b/c the stand length is so incredibly short, it won't work on even the smallest adult bikes.

On it's own merit, it seems well made and has multiple positions that allow some flexibility of use. However, it is surprisingly heavy, especially if you're going to be putting it on a small and light bike.

Very well made. One nut on one bolt to attach. Easy to align. It's a little odd, but the leg can be stored forward or back of the axle (only back makes sense on small bikes like these). The force required to open/close the leg can be a little much at first. It recommends the use of a lubricant to help (I used white lithium grease).

This one is very solid and built to last. No adjustments or extra screws to work loose.

I recommend this over others.

I needed a rear kick stand for my 16" fold-a-bike. This was the ticket. Very heavy duty, easy to mount, and sized for a small tire bike. Also because the leg is solid, you can always cut down the leg a bit to suit how much lean you want on the bike.

Honest reviews on Wald Axle Mount Kickstand

This was my second kickstand purchase for my daughter's bike. Her bike came with training wheels so needles to say it didn't come with a kickstand which is frustrating. I ordered another kickstand but it did not fit on her bikethe design of her bike didn't allow for a standard kickstand so I found this one and I love it. It is sturdy and attaches easily and the bike stands without issueit is a rear mount but is sturdy enough to support the bike!! Great product !!!

Ordered this for my sons mongoose bike and had put on old style in middle and lasted about a month and then fell apart. The new rear axle one looks and feels very heavy duty and so far has outlasted the other one easilly. Now I have to keep telling him that the kickstand is not a fancy decoration and that it actually will keep his bike upright and not on its side in the driveway or yard. Over all great product and would recommend . Fast shipping and good price as well. Also product made in the USA !

I didn't expect much for the price and what I got in return was much better. The best thing about this top tube bag is that it fits my 4.3'' cell phone and I'm able to use the touchscreen through the plastic without any problems. Thus, during a ride, I use my phone as my gps and speedometer through a program called Endomondo and I can see everything. I bought a small USB battery pack on Amazon and tuck it inside the case and after riding for 6 hrs with the screen on, GPS on, and blutooth on streaming music to my headphones, I had 100% battery.

Even with the battery pack, I had space for food and snacks, which you need on a 100 km ride.

For the money, this bad cannot be beat. It has padding on the sides for protection if you do place items that need it in there.

As simply a bike pack, assuming there was not phone display, I would rate this product 2 stars. The three attachment straps are all much too long for my road bike, so I had to customize them a little bit. Assuming you have some very amateur skill with a sowing, or even just a scissors, this should be an easy fix. After testing the length of the straps on my bike, I marked out the correct length. I then removed the "male" velcro piece, cutting the strap by about 4 inches, sowing the velcro back on, then melting the end of the strap to prevent from fray. Another option would be to simply glue the velcro back onto the corrected strap. This worked well for me, however I wish the product would have just initially come with proper strap lengths. The pouch has padded walls, which is nice if you are carrying more fragile items, or hard things such as CO2 cartridges as it protects the bike from dings. straps are attached to the bottom edges of the pouch. This is a slight design flaw because as you crank the straps tight, the bottom face of the pouch is pulled down by the edges around the frame, taking away valuable storage space. My recommendation would be to reinforce the bottom with a hard plastic bracket or plate, and relocate the strap attachment position to the center of the pouch. Next, when riding in my drops, because I am leaning forward more, by knees sometimes rub the side of the pack. This can really throw you off when cruising down a hill where you need maximum control. The pack slides around, but never shifts dramatically from typical road vibration and small bumps. Finally, the zipper is hard to maneuver around the from of the pack, as it is pressed tightly against the stem of the bike. If the zipper came around the back of the bag, it would be instantly much better. The size of the pack is impressively large. In my pouch I have a spare tube, a small patch kit, a 19-function multi-tool (Crank Brothers Multi Bicycle Tool (19-Function)), 2 tire levers, 2 16oz CO2 cartridges, a small CO2 inflater (Innovations Air Chuck Elite Inflator), and enough room to slip in my keys, along with my ID and credit card (which I always suggest you carry in case of emergency). The pouch is stuffed to its limit with all of this when my phone is put in the phone pouch, which I will get to in a minute. A big advantage to this product is the ease of accessibility. It is easy to grab a quick snack at a stoplight, or even on the go.

The reason I am giving this product a 4-star review is because of the phone pocket. To start, the position of the pouch is low enough that it would not hit the ground if turned upside down, and located in a central position on the bike. This provides protecting from damage if you were to take a spill. I would trust that by rolling my bike down a steep mountain slope into a heavily wooded forest where my bike would meet its grave, my phone would remain unharmed. My iPhone 4 fits snugly in the pocket, the entire screen is displayed (clear plastic is tall and wide enough), and the plastic is clear and easy to see through. Though the plastic gently sticks to the screen, making the display look goofy when screen is off, when the screen is illuminated this disappears, and a clear display shines through. Also, I have had no issues with the touch screen through the plastic. It may be slightly less sensitive, but much better than I would have expected from such thick, durable material. It is easy to quickly check the time, text messages, or the weather while at a stoplight, or even on the move. I would suggest making text larger, as it is difficult to read normal sized text fonts, even with 20-20 vision. (Use caution when looking at phone while moving).

I have yet to test the product in wet conditions, but from what I can tell by examining the pouch, it is very much splash proof. The material is much like that off a pair of winter gloves, which can soak through, yes, but very slowly and in small amounts. I also imagine if there is water on the plastic screen cover, the touch sensors would be off, but this happens when water is directly on the phone screen, plastic cover or not. I would not suggest riding through 5-foot deep puddles with electronics in the pouch, but other than that I would trust it to remain water resistant on wet roads, muddy trails, and light rain.

Finally, there is the one aspect that is even better than the phone pouch: the price. This product is exceptional for its price. I would prefer it to many $50 saddle packs. You cannot complain about anything when the price is this low. (In my defense, I am not complaining, I am only trying to inform the consumer about the product)

Overall, the product does exactly what it promotes. The design of the pouch has a few flaws, and could use a more secure mounting apparatus. The phone display pouch is excellent, and makes right all flaws of the design. The price is, well, look for yourself. When I purchased this product it was $9.99 with free shipping (with Prime). I would pay at least $30 for this product. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a phone mount and bike pack, as it brilliantly combines the two.

Just got this the other day and put on my bike. No issues with the straps. The bag seems very secure. Of important note the iPhone5 fits easily. You can still use the phone to navigate to applications even while in the bag. Seems like this would provide good protection of the phone for at least light rain. Would not trust for heavy rain.

Plenty of space under the phone compartment area for keys, wallet etc..

For about $10 this bag is clearly worth it.

Honest reviews on Roswheel Bicycle Frame Pannier and Front Tube Cell Phone Bag

This small pack is great for the price. It is well stitched and looks like it will hold up over many miles. My only issue is if I stand up from the saddle to climb a hill, my knees rub each side of the bag as I pedal. As long as you are seated on your bike, the bag is fine. It fits a phone, bike tube, cliff bar, gel, patch kit, and small tool. I can swipe the phone through the plastic cover.

Just a quick update to my original review of this great bag. I've loved everything about this bag. From the looks of it, to the way my cell phone fits into the sleeve designed for it. My only complaint was as others have stated. Is that the velcro straps were way too long. some even mentioned cutting, sewing or gluing the straps to shorten them. I found out that by simply criss crossing them underneath the bar shortens them greatly so that they don't hang off the side of the bag.But in no way compromises the grip on the top bar of the bike. Works well and makes the bike look great minus having to do any of the proposed alterations. Love this bag!!!
