Exact replacement for my Gary Fisher bike. I had to cut some links off which is to be expected, easy to cut anyway. I would suggest getting a Sram powerlink (master link) instead of using the rivet that Shimano uses. The powerlink is much easier to work with. Happy with this chain, my last one lasted about 1800 hard miles.

I needed to replace my chain because the previous owner of the bike let the other chain rust and no matter what I did I could not fix the chain. This replacement chain was so smooth and made a huge difference.

Yup. Put it on and it works. Then I bought one for my other bike and then I bought one for my friend's bike.

Buy Wheel Master Pyramid Axle Set with Dust Cap - RR 3/8 x 26 x 126 x

Customer Ratings:

Don't know what to say, it's an axle. Exactly as described, fit perfectly. A few minor scratches on it, but it's going inside a bicycle wheel, so who really cares? Significantly cheaper than anyplace else I've found, B&M or online. Got a lot of slack from several local bike shops when trying to find an axle, and they wanted to charge an arm and a leg. Found what I needed without the attitude for 1/10th the price!

I had to guess as the bike I was replacing it on was an old french model, but it fit perfectly. Couldn't be happier.

I chose this rating, because I never received this part. I dislike waiting all this time, and never receiving anything.I would recommend this part to no one, because they never will receive this part, even though they paid full price for it.

the dust cap is useless cause

it is smaller than mine rear hub, however it fits to the front hub..

My son wanted pegs in the back and the wheel axle was too short. These fit perfectly. I did have to use the washer nuts from the old axel to get the distance right, but at the end, the length, fit, finish and the threads are all what I had expected.

Only thing was that I ordered the part on 8/3 and it did not arrive till 8/19. I love the axle, but shipping took a while.
