I ordered a couple of these for use on a college campus in the housekeeping and maintenance. I was wishing they were three or five speed to make it easier to go up the hills. After I assembled the first one I immediately to it up the longest grade we have with no problems. I'm actually glad they're single speed now because they'll have less issues later. Our hills are not real steep though for serious grades you'll want more gears.

You asked if I was satisfied with this Schwinn Tricycle. To me it is a worthless peace of junk.

Its out of balance and hard to pedal. I cant ride it at all it keeps stearing funy. I had my step daughter try and ride it and she had the same problems. Now I am stuck with a 297$ bike that I will have throw in the dump. Do you have anyway I can redem my money. YOur respectfuly

This works great for him since he can't ride a two-wheeler. It looks very cool and he feels proud when he rides it. It took several hours for my husband to assemble it. My son pedals very slowly, so I let him pedal along while I walk the neighborhood. The basket is substantial and we sometimes pack a picnic lunch in there, add a kickball, blanket, and go to the neighborhood shaded playground and sit under a big oak after playing and eat. Very good purchase.

This is a nice thick, long cable. Thieves will not easily cut this cable, nor break or pick the lock. And the 10 foot long cable can easily reach all the parts that need to be locked. It is not too heavy, nor too clumsy to store, but it isn't lightweight and very flexible either. It's a reasonable trade-off of weight and storage for the extra security that the cable provides. Recommended.

This is a very good quality lock. It is really long so is great for locking my bike's frame front AND back tires to my trailer hitch.

I use this in conjunction with the 4.5 by 9 bulldog lock from onguard. U-lock in the rear triangle, cable for the front wheel, chain inside an inner tube for the seat. Really nice combination of security.

I think that about sums it up. The lock looked nice, was easy to mount and use, dials worked smoothly, and when the time came, it spectacularly failed, allowing me to walk out to an empty bike rack in the morning. Buy a U-Lock. Just do it. A cable simply cannot have the shear strength required to resist good cutters.

Cheap Pinhead Solid Axle Bicycle Wheel Lock

I very much don't want to have my wheels stolen, so I bought a pair of these. For those who ride road/track/fixed gear bikes, the axle diameters are usually different for front & rear. Front is 9mm and rear is 10mm. With that said, you don't want to use one of these for the rear because it may not be able to be torqued down hard enough for those who ride fixed and brake with their legs.

Best bike-locking security recommendation: lock your bike with a u-lock through the rear triangle and use these nuts on the front. Frame and both wheels are secured.

I'm a cheap man and I own lots of bikes, so I only use one of these locking nuts on the front wheel. I put the other locking nut on a different bike's front wheel. Now I can secure the front wheels of two different bikes.

Getting these things torqued down is kind of a pain because the custom key (which fits in a 15mm wrench/socket) has a tendency to slip off when you're applying pressure. This is good because it'll be harder for thieves, but it's annoying, too. Minus 1 star.

Overall I have peace of mind while my bike is locked up. $30 is a whole lot cheaper than replacing two wheels.

I really like these and I also had a great customer service experience and now know that are a great company with most high quality stuff. The cost is a little high and shipping from Canada( if you lose the key) is high and takes long but the best value out there. The seat post collar is a little hit and miss though. I wonder if the seat bolt can be secured with the 10mm lock? I will try!

I lock my fixed gear every night to a parking meter in a sketchy area downtown. I bought these after both wheels were stolen. They are simply security nuts with coded keys, and at around $15 per nut, they're not cheap. However they do deter average theives. Some mornings I can see that the bike has been messed with, but then left alone. I did a fair amount of research and found no better alternatives, just wish people were less shady.

Be sure to find out the size of your axels before buying. The rear axel diameter (10) is usually larger than the front (9).

I bought for my 2 1/2 year old for Easter. He loves Thomas so naturally he loved this. I got the new revised handlebars, has lots of thomas talking and things for him to do on the bike. He's around 38 inchs tall and can reach the pedals just fine on the highest seat adjustment with room to grow, he hasn't mastered the pedaling part yet, he has only been driving it in the house so far cause of the weather. We have tile and wood floors and he scoots pretty fast around and its better than those baby ride on because its slightly taller and easier to move it looks like. Also has a compartment in front for {thomas} sunglasses, I can see him being able to ride this for the next few years to come for sure. Worth the money compared to other ones, and shipping was fast and free!!

Good size for my small 3 1/2 year old grandson he can reach the pedals and can ride and steer the bike fine. It will probably work for him for at least another year. Better than many others we looked at. And its a cute bike.
