Aside from a patch kit or spare tube, the 3wrencho has the two tools I need on the road for my fixed gear bike, no more and no less. I like my fixie for its simplicity. About the only maintenance I regularly need to perform is repairing a flat. The box wrench grips the axle's locknut on all sides making it easy to adjust chain tension while tightening the nut, the steel tire lever helps with the less stretchy Aramid/Kevlar bead of folding tires, and the coating left nary a mark on my black anodized rims. True, it cannot open bottles, but almost any other piece of metal can.

I also looked at Park Tool's Single Speed Spanner SS-15. It has the lock nut / tire lever combination, but is twice as massive, and I have never needed to change my pedals by the side of the road. Surly's Jethro Tule may be more comfortable, but then I would need separate tire levers, and the 3wrencho does not dig into my hand. This tool is the only one I have found to match the simplicity of my fixie.

This is the most beautiful wrench I've ever held in my hands. A true piece of art in addition to a great tool. Plus its small enough to fit in my saddle bag! I only wish Portland Design made a bunch of other accessories for bikes, all with this level of quality and excellence and artistic style. Yeah they do make a few other things, but they could OWN the accessory market if they wanted to (at least the high end side of the market).

I absolutely LOVE this tool!

I bought it a few months ago to replace the Park Tools ss wrench & I couldn't be happier! It is far lighter & smaller than the other tool, making it perfect to keep in my pack at all times. I was actually looking for the non-coated model (so I could use it as a bottle opener) but my LBS steered me toward the coated because its far gentler on the rims. Boy, were they right!

Backtracking a little bit, I didn't expect to use this as a tire lever since my former tool (& many other tire levers) aren't compatible with my (dreaded) Conti Gatorskins/deep V rim combo. The 3wrencho works just fine... surprisingly well, actually. Its supposed to function as the only lever you need, zipping along the rim as opposed to unseating the tire bit by bit. It does this well on other bikes, but as my tires are difficult to remove & my rims left deep grooves in the tool's coating, I use the 3wrencho as an anchor & a Quick Stick to unseat the tire. That works perfectly for me.

The 15mm wrench is great. I did mess up my knuckles once, but that can happen with any wrench. I've heard some folk complain about the length not giving enough torque. That's only true if you don't finish the job by applying pressure with your foot. Any video featuring this tool shows that & I'm sure its the reason the thoughtful people at PDW designed the shape of the wrench as it is.

My only gripe with this tool is that it can't be used as a pedal wrench. (I mean, its not designed to be) but for me that would knock this thing out of the park. As it is, its a really excellent, elegant, lightweight tool that does exactly what its supposed to.

The coating/sleeve is nice and slick, great for running around the rim and tire. The thing is as solid as any other wrench I have, it's simple, to the point and unfortunately not the only tool I need in my backpack since some of my bikes have different sizes, but I'm throwing a couple of stubbies in with this and it's a heck of a lot better than an adjustable that gives under torque. For most riders of modern bikes this thing and a 5mm hex key should be all you need beside patches and a pump.

Hands down this is the best tire lever I have ever used. The coating makes sure that you don't scratch up your rims.

I had the same experience as the author of the other review about the seems coming apart. My kids are small and well below the weight limit, yet the seam that holds the seat to one side of the trailer has completely torn. The geniuses at the lab failed to support the middle of the seat where the majority of the weight is centered, save for some lousy stitching. Also the thing squeaks and creaks like crazy when I ride, while I have not had it long and lubed the heck out of it to no avail. Save yourself some money and frustration and go with a less expensive better quality trailer with better reviews.

We spent 270 dollars for this, used it 4 times. All of the seams are coming undone, on the bottom in the footwell, there is a foot at least of seam that has come out that caused it to drag on the ground. This thing is a PIECE OF JUNK. I was overjoyed when we first got it, beautiful, easy to put together, simple attachment system for the bike, now 4 rides later it is worthless, absolutely worthless. I'd be careful who you buy it from as well as we're having problems getting a refund. Total Rip off.

We spent roughly $270 dollars for this as well. I have used it for no more than 10 weeks ( a few days per week on smooth roads). Already the seams are coming undone and tonight on the way home from our bike ride the back came completely loose and my son was laying flat on his back in the trailer. I store it in the house and have only used it behind my bike. It has only been used for one kid, so I can only imagine how it would fall apart with 2 kids or if it wasn't pampered the way it has been so far. I am going to return it to Costco and I do not plan to get another one because I am so disappointed at the quality. This thing is a PIECE OF JUNK. I loved it when we first got it and had a lot of compliments on it. It is nice and compact, easy to put together, simple attachment system for the bike, now I can't say a good thing about it because it didn't even last ONE summer! I am glad I bought mine at Costco because I believe they are good about taking JUNK back.

I bought this bike trailer today. I looked long and hard for a bike trailer that was also a jogging stroller. This one was easy to put together, it's a smooth ride, has a ton of storage space, and takes corners wonderfully. I am very happy so far, and my daughter is ecstatic.

Ironic the logo is a zipper and that was the first thing to break, followed by the entire bottom ripping out. My 35 lb son is VERY disappointed, and so am I. Do not waste your money, the craftsmanship is poor to say the least.
