I've had this Wheel Master coaster hub wheel for about 1 year. The other day, for the first time, I accidentally dropped off a 4" curb. The result was a broken spoke. I weigh 165 lbs, and with the original 1977 Schwinn S-6 wheel, I've dropped off curbs many times without a problem.

The mechanic at my local bike shop sold me a stainless steel spoke and mentioned that Wheel Master spokes are notorious for breaking. Of course, replacing an occasional spoke isn't such a big deal, if you know what you're doing, but even then it is highly aggravating.

On the plus side, this wheel trued up okay with the new spoke. This wheel spins a bit truer than the original wheel, and is noticeably lighter. The weight difference can be felt, particularly when climbing a hill.

Update one week later: I broke another spoke!! This time, I don't even know how or when. The spokes on this wheel are not as tightly laced from the factory as those on the original Schwinn front wheel (S-6). Perhaps that's why these spokes seem to break so easily. I run a coaster break bike for low maintenance and dependability. This wheel certainly defeats those objectives.

2nd update, three weeks after previous update: Two weeks ago, I was pumping up the tire (to 65 lbs). "Tink" went yet another spoke. "Groan!" Needless to say, something was not right with this wheel. So, this time, when I replaced the spoke, I loosened all the spokes a quarter turn and re-trued the wheel. It's been running fine since then (2 weeks). But, with looser spokes all around, my confidence level is dropping.

I later asked a professional wheel builder, on line, about my wheel problem. He believes these wheels are breaking spokes because the spokes are too small diameter for the hub holes. They are in fact a bit smaller diameter than the replacement spokes I'm using (14 guage). I can tell by rolling them together on a tabletop with my index finger pressing down on them.

According to the wheel builder, the loose fit at the hub hole creates extra stress at the spoke elbow. Indeed, all three broken spokes broke at the elbow. Thinner spokes (and rims) means less tension can be applied to the spokes. That, along with extra stress at the hub, results in significantly lowered wheel strength. Knowing this, I intend to ride this wheel very gently until I can find an original Schwinn replacement.

It seems to me that by recklessly cheapening their product, Wheel Master is subjecting users to much aggravation and increased danger of wheel collapse. Would you want to trust your life to such a wheel? Thank you Amazon for making this review possible.

For schwinns replacement wheels are hard to find. Even though they are not exactly the same they are great replacement.

The wheel was marked 26 x 1 3/8 but is was definitely not, nor was it 27" or 700 cm. I believe it was one of those odd Schwinn sizes, even the folks at the bike shop were stumped by it.

Upgraded the cockpit and drivetrain on a second-hand Specialized Stumpjumper Comp that I use for single track and trail riding. Paired this X.9 front derailleur with an SRAM X.0 indexed trigger shifter. Easy installation and adjustment, though the high clamp competes for space with the down tube bottle cage mount. I have 5 hours of my own time invested in trying to adjust this derailleur. I have taken my bike two TWO different shops and they both were unable to get this derailleur working properly. In the mean time, my 30 day return has expired. Buy something else.

My three kids ages 11, 9, and 5 love these. My aunt has two and they have so much trouble waiting for their turn. i just bought this one for my 5 yr old for her 6th b-day. I know she's gonna love. All the kids love these. I like that they get them out from behind electronic devices and exercising. Often those who aren't riding will play or ride other bikes while waiting their turn. My biggest worry is they are low to the ground so I HIGHLY recommend supervision in areas where there are vehicles. At my aunts we're in the country and she has a large driveway so that is not a concern. Get your kids one and get them moving! You won't be sorry!

We bought 2 Razor 360 Flash Riders from Amazon for our twins who turned 12 yesterday. They went absolutely BONKERS for these fun toys! They got the hang of riding and spinning and riding and spinning very quickly. They said the seats were comfortable...one said it was like sitting in a recliner! lol Because they're sitting so low to the ground there's no chance of them flipping this 'trike' over, which is important considering they're spinning and riding around like crazy men. It really reminded me of watching bumper cars at the Fair the way they'd ride straight then turn the handlebars and get it to spin (only my kids weren't crashing into each other....yet....hahaha). My husband and I were very entertained just watching them. The Razor 360's are rated to 160 lbs, so our kids will get many years use out of them.

My husband did the minimal assembly required without any problem. He's a perfectionist, OCD Engineer and he was impressed by the sturdiness of the Razor 360's build. It's got a solid, hard rubber front time, so there's no worry about it popping or wearing through like cheap plastic tires. The back wheels are the standard, small, white Razor wheels which are on their other products. We posted a video of the boys riding the 360's on Facebook and were immediately inundated with questions from friends who'd never seen such a thing. We HIGHLY recommend this toy....as a matter of fact, we're going to contact Razor and BEG them to make an adult version! Seriously!!

We own a big old 4 story building we're rehabbing and the 2nd floor is wide open with wood floors. The boys can ride these things even in the winter and they'll be getting much-needed exercise instead of being couch potatoes and vegging out during the cold Illinois winters. I'll be one happy Mom that they'll be entertained and NOT FIGHTING (is it only my kids who do that?) when they're playing on their Razor 360's! As they were running out the door to go to school this morning they were already talking about riding their Razor 360's when they got home today. Yippee....more exercise disguised as FUN!!!!

Oh, as a side note, WHEN (not if) you buy one of these, read the instructions on the side of the box....they're hilarious! Like, don't try to start a fire while riding the 360 by using the spark feature; Don't ride it on a public thoroughfare (like any sane parent would let their kid ride a TRIKE on a busy street! lololol) etc. All kidding aside, Razor makes quality products, and we recommend the Razor 360 Flash Rider 100%. It's SO WORTH THE MONEY!!!

This jacket actually fits how the description of most Frogg Toggs read. The part where it says you can wear it over clothes actually makes sense compared to the Tekk Toad and other coats. I'm really happy with the length and room in this jacket.

This is one of the few non tailored jackets I own that actually fits a lean 6' 4" frame, and It is made for a tall person. The sleeves are the correct length and the hood has an option that keeps it from drooping over your eyes. This jacket feels good in the rain and does not give that steamy, sticky sensation you get from non breathable material.

Update: I wore this jacket during a two hour steady downpour while hiking. Only the edges of sleeves were damp. The other 95% was dry. Once the rain stopped, my body head quickly dried the sleeves.
