These were used to replace the old tires on my middle son's scooter (bought for him when he was 10...he is 39 now!) The scooter will be used for his kids and my other grandkids....with an occasional ride from us adults.

Best Deals for Avenir Women's 300 Series Mountain Saddle

I was told this brand is the sub-sister to Diamond Back but I totally DISAGREE. I loved the saddle my diamond back had and this feels nothing close to it.

With that said, the Avenir looks great in person and had a medium thickness. However, it could have been a little more comfortable but it wasn't totally painful. I did notice when I rode one time with some jeans shorts the blue rubbed off onto the saddle.

Tire weighed in at 217 grams. Color is a nice true red. Mounted up nicely on a rim that ia usually a bit tough. Outstanding dry weather grip.

Best rolling tires out there. Rated high on Jan Heine's tire comparo in Bicycyle Quarterly. They have that high TPI 320. Smooth out a lot of road harshness. Will be buying again and again especially when the deals arise on Amazon. A plus.

Not as puncture resistant due to the high tpi and lack of rock hard anti puncture layers. I like these tires a lot.

The 25 mm tires are more comfortable because you can ride at a lower tire pressure plus they have less road resistance so they are faster and grip the road like magnets. If you mount these on wheels 23 mm wide everything I just mentioned is enhanced.

This grip shifter is definitely a step ahead of the X0 9 speed unit, but i believe way overpriced. Still its the only one of its kind, and SRAM knows it. I only use the 10 speed right side, and sold the left side unit, as the older X0 left side unit works fine and is only $30.
