I fortunately never found out whether or not it would stand up to a thief trying to cut it but it was nonetheless very heavy duty feeling and easy to carry. I like the fact that it coils up very easily to fit into a bag if needed.

This is a great product. I live in a high crime town and needed the right lock for my moped. The rottweiler really does the trick. It feels very strong and is just long enough to attach the back tire to a railing, or just the tire to the frame so nobody can try to ride off with it. It is pretty portable; not that heavy...I usually just coil it up and put it on my handlebars. One thing i got used to and actually really like now is that the lock will not let you take your key without being %100 locked in; If it lets you take your key that means the lock is completely secure. Overall i am very satisfied with my purchase.

This is a great lock. It is strong yet not too heavy to carry. I got the 20mm X 3'4". It is long enough for one wheel and the frame plus a pole. (sign, bike rack) 5 Keys. Lock seems hard to pick. Smooth operation so far. I put oil in it immediately. On the key and inserted it several times. This is good for all locks.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the Face has a metal edge and may scratch the bike, especially while riding if it is stored around seatpost. A rubber coating around the face's edge (leaving the key area open and depressed) would have been perfect.

This is a heavy, well made lock. I use it to secure the rear tire to the frame of the motorcycle as I do not have a stationary object to secure it to. I would highly recommend this lock. So far I have had no issues with the lock mechanism itself even though it has been in the rain. The manufacturer has "Notices" placed on the lock to spray WD-40 inside the locking mechanism to prevent any seizing. So far mine hasn't been in need of attention. Great lock and would recommend.

This seemed like a reasonably good quality lock. Unfortunately, 2 months after purchasing it, the key started to get stuck in the lock. I'd have to turn and release the lock several times before I could get the key out. That lasted about another month before the key got permanently stuck in the lock. It's useless now, obviously. I should point out that my bike and the lock were kept indoors. This lock hasn't seen rain or dirt. It has led the most pampered life imaginable for a bike lock, and still it died. That is an unacceptable level of reliability. I recommend getting another brand of lock. Certainly I will.

Edit: Last night I took a screwdriver and stuck it into the lock mechanism to fiddle around, see if I could unjam it. Without too much effort something clicked and the lock is working like new again. So I'm feeling better about this lock now, but still worried about its longevity.
