Got these due to the decent price and high reviews, recommending them as they Look GREAT on the bike, I have a white and red bike so the whitewall and Michelin spelled out makes the bike pop a little bit more. For riding, I went with these tires and the Slime tubes, the slime tubes don't let me get as much PSI as I want but these tires have not picked anything up yet, I check them after every ride. I'm 225 and ride with a good 15lb backpack and they are doing great, about 80-90 miles on them so far which my stock tire and tube setup made it about 8 miles...

I bought a set of these for my hybrid bike. I ride it on the paved river bike paths in Los Angeles/OC. 80%-90% of these surfaces are nice and smooth, but the other 10%-20% has done these tires in after 500km of riding. The tires feel great, they are fast and velvety...During my 50KM Saturday bike ride, while resting for the return leg I was looking my tires over...they have several lacerations all over them, that didn't inspire much confidence for the return leg of my trip. The tires surfaces aren't worn, but they definitely show the signs of use...checks from rocks and expansion joints and what not. I really like the way the tires feel...but I'm not sure I want to put them on again...The dilemma is that a more urban oriented tire would be heavier, and probably feel clunkly...like a 15 passenger van, instead of a sports car (like the Dynamic Sports).

These tires are very interesting. The amazon photo shows some kind of treat, but they came as slicks. I got the black/black ones and I thought that the lack of tread would affect their road handling on wet pavement but that was not the case. After about 1500 miles on these tires I changed them for gatorskins there was nothing wrong with them, but I needed to install them on my GF's bike.

Comparing these to gatorskins is not fair for either tire. I actually like the Michelins more they are a much faster tire and they held up very well against the terrible roads we have in MN. I had only one flat last season and that was from a gnarly puncture that left a small bolt sticking out of my rear tire. All that was required was to replace the tube and I did several hundred miles of riding after that with no problems. The only drawback is that they do look a little used by the end of the season they still have a good deal of rubber left, but its just a visual thing.

Installing these is very normal for road tires a herculean effort is not required. Just do it right. Also replace your rim-tape when installing new tires as I would expect most of the complaints of flats are from that (in general). Wet traction was not ideal, I have a few rear skids when biking in the rain, but be sensible which tires are good for wet?

They are at a very good price compared to the competition.

Honest reviews on Michelin Dynamic Sport Tire

I got the 700x23 because I wanted to test a smaller size on my 700x25 spec rims without spending a lot to see if the narrower tire would be a problem. They worked great! But you have to take road slicks for what they are: thin strips of rubber and belting with no forgiveness for nails, tacks, glass, sheet metal, and car parts. I was getting a flat a week on road slicks (other brands) until I learned that, unless you ride on a closed course, you have to use a tire liner with road slicks (I have used both the Tuffy and Slime models with ZERO flats in two years); there is something about the physics of a secondary layer that is more resistant to flats than a single thicker layer. At any rate, I had recently increased to 17 mph average on some moderately treaded tires I was testing out for semi-off road use. On the next ride after putting these back on, I averaged almost 18 MPH on the same ride (20 mile hilly round trip road commute to work). Some have said they "wouldn't ride these for racing" -I say, why not? Like I said, I bought these to see if smaller tires would work without spending a lot before upgrading to a more expensive smaller tire. I think I'll just leave these on for a few years.

Receive my product and a great time frame canyon outfitters did a great job sending me what I asked quickly and proficiently. these tires are great, greater runtimes then my previous set. These tires have already proven themselves to be better then my other road set. I would definitely buy from Canyon outfitters again.
