If you have a bike with horizontal dropouts, this is pretty much the way to go. If you have vertical dropouts, save yourself some money and go with a cheaper option.

An excellent Shimano product. I have used other brands of skewers from well known manufactures but these skewers are outstanding and very high quality. They are easy to use and lock the wheel firmly and reassuringly in place. I think it's important to use a high quality and reliable product when your life may depend on it.
