These lights are great for being seen on the road! I wouldn't recommend them for being able to see much though, as they aren't the brightest lights out there. What's nice about them is that they're lightweight, easily rechargeable, and the velcro straps make it so that they can be switched between different bikes at a moment's notice!

The package comes with only one USB charger, but luckily these lights charge relatively quickly so I don't think you really need to buy a separate charger. One should do the job! Charging is pretty easy, just make sure the magnets snap together and the light flashes periodically to know that the electrons are flowing to your device.

The front light has three modes: Steady, Overdrive, and Flash. The overdrive mode is a little bit brighter than the steady mode. The flashing mode makes me feel like I'm going to have a seizure, but it does save on battery and still allows you to be seen by other vehicles. But since these things are rechargeable, I just go with the steady mode.

The rear light similarly has three modes: Steady, Flash, and "Chase". Chase mode means that the 4 LEDs blink in an artsy back-and-forth pattern, which saves some batteries and can draw attention to you on the road.

I think these lights are great for people who want something that is very lightweight, small, rechargeable, and allows you to be seen by other cars. If you're looking for lights that can turn night into day, these might not be for you.

I bought this for all-day use on my commute to work and back. After 2months the charger stopped working for no apparent reason so I got it replaced. Last week there was a little bit of rain and that's when the tail light turned crazy. It just started blinking and switching on and off after the ride. On the following day it became obvious that water got into the light and it doesn't charge anymore.

Those lights would be really great if they'd just be a little more rugged...

I will definitly not recommend them to anyone.

The Fleas are well-named. They're REALLY small and light.

I mounted the headlight on my helmet, and clip the taillight on the back of my helmet's adjustment strap. I run the taillight in 2+2 flashing mode. I find that cars give me a wider berth when I have it flashing.

Note that the combo comes with 2 lights (1 front, 1 rear) but only 1 charger. I initially was disappointed, thinking that charging both would be tedious. In reality, the units charge so quickly that it hasn't been an issue.

I really like the size and design of the Flea, but it has it's limits. I use it for my AM rides (still dark outside) and it's great for being noticed by cars. The headlight lasts about 2 hours+ in the flashing mode (not in the "high-beam" mode) and I don't use it to see the road (have a Light & Motion on helmet), only to be noticed. The rear flasher lasts a couple of rides before being recharged. Charging has been the problemthe short little USB stick won't work on my PC because it's too short (only good for a lap-top?) and the light can't reach the contacts (bought an extension cord from Radio Shack as a solution$15). There is another problem with chargingthe units don't want to charge now! I'm in queue with Blackburn to receive replacements.

I bought these for their ease of charge--tired of buying batteries for lights or constantly charging my rechargeable batteries. These worked great and for daily use for about 3 months.

Then all of the sudden, we could not charge the front or back light. We tried troubleshooting--cleaning the contacts, plugging them in other outlets instead of the computer, etc. and nothing worked.

Now we're left with pricey lights we can't get charged and we'll have to buy new ones to replace these since we ride so much at night. What a disappointment in what could be a quality purchase gone bad.
