I just got this after researching joggers\bike trailers for a few days. I have a 5 yr old and 3 yr old and my main concern was the seats. The Instep bike trailer I had would squish the two of them together in the center. I wanted one that has dual functionality for biking and jogging but also fits the kids comfortably AND I didn't want to spend $500 like I was afraid I would have to to get all those features. I was pleased to see this works perfectly, looks nice, and is comfortable and VERY spacious for the two (big) kids. There is nice trunk storage that doesnt make the seat uncomfortable for the kids, the seats are hard enough to keep the kids from squishing into each other but still padded and comfortable, and it was fairly easy to assemble and also easy so convert from the jogger to the trailer. I couldn't be more happy with my purchase and highly recommend this if you are looking for something on a budget. I sold my double seat Instep bike trailer for $100 and purchased this one for only $114 so in my opinion it was quite the upgrade for only $14.

Bought this for a vacation trip that I knew was going to have lots of walking. Toted a 2T & 4T with all their gear, my gear and the extras we picked up along the way each day. A few times we even had three kids in there with no complaining of being too crowded. Folds up and sets up fairly quickly, max of 2 mins after you get the hang of it. Very very easy to manuever, fit through every door we encounted. The seating area is a sturdy padded bench vs a "sling" type I saw in some others so the kids do not lean into each other. There is no recline for sleeping, which I new going in, but kids being kids they found ways to to situate themselves to take naps as needed. Most people will probably use this on short trips as a jogging stroller or bike trailer so that shouldn't be an issue. My only true complaint is that the cover does not have a zipper for easy kid extraction, it has to be lifted up from the front. I do have to note that the cover does not need to be secured over the kids to use the stroller. Since the weather was nice we tucked the cover into the storage area and the no zipper was not an issue. Size wise, we drive a KIA Spectra hatchback and at first didn't think it would fit but ended up putting it in at an angle with the front wheel centered & over the back seat. We still had plenty of room to pack everything we needed for a week long trip. Overall the kids love being able to sit up and see everything. I love the maneuverability, strorage capacity and quick setup/break down. We live in a small town and this has become my main get around town stroller.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this one. I did not want to spend a lot of money as I was not sure how often I would use it as I was buying it to use with my niece and nephew. I have used it a few times and I am very impressed with it. It is easy to use as a trailer on my bike and push as a stroller. My niece and nephew are asking me all the time to go for a bike ride now and I don't even notice I am pulling them other than hearing them talk to one another and telling me what they see. They have said it is very comfortable in it even though they are very tall for their age and I make them wear a helmet when it is as a bike trailer. Lastly, it kept them very dry when we were out in the rain with the weather shield down. I would have given it 5 stars if the directions that came with it were helpful at all, however I had to use my knowledge about bike trailers to be able to put it together.

I ordered this bike trailer/jogger after looking at numerous products on amazon. Great product for the price. I'm not an avid biker by any means but this trailer gets the job done. A little on the heavy side, but for the price, I don't mind. Only gave it 4 stars simply due to the fact that the instructions for it were the worst I've ever seen. This product has quite a few parts and pieces to it and I just had to figure it out on my own. I looked at the product pictures online to get it right and make sure I wasn't going to break a piece by putting it in the wrong way. Converts easily to a jogger and runs super smooth. Lots of room for two kids (mine are 3.5 and 1.5 yrs) and they sit right over the rear axle so there's tons of support, the kids don't smash together in the middle. Very impressed with this product, definitely a good buy.

My chain was skipping so I replaced it with a new one. I had the LBS install the chain since I didn't feel like shelling out $$ for a chain break tool that I would never need again (use masterlinks instead). The owner questioned why I was changing the chain to which I replied because it is skipping. He then informed me that I should consider changing the freewheel as well. He was right. With the new chain installed my skipping problem seemed to be getting worse. I quickly ordered the Shimano MF-TZ20 Freewheel, along with an FR-1 Freewheel removal tool and a spoke protector (the old one was so brittle it just fell apart). It took a bit of elbow grease but using a 1-inch socket with the FR-1 in place and I removed the old freewheel and installed the new one.

After a 41 mile ride last night the chain only seemed to skip once. It was quiet the whole three hours. (And with a new set of road tires on my 17 y/o mtb the decreased road resistance was noticeable at once.)

The Shimano freewheel replaced the original perfectly. Replacement

took about 5 minutes using the Park freewheel removal tool. This

combined with a new chain has resulted in smoother riding and

crisp shifting. It couldn't be any better for my 70's vintage

Motobecane.

This free wheel came just as described in the spec. It installed onto the new wheel with no problems and I was able to tune it in just fine. The shifting is sharp and for the price and application I dont have any complaints.

This is a good value for a 700c Nexus 3-speed rim. For a 700c though, I would have expected a narrower rim, it barely fits a 28c tire, the wider rims are great for a cruiser, but that would be the 26".

Review of Avenir Adjustable Front Wheel Basket

Nice shallow basket, classic style for a vintage cruiser..however..

Basket lacks a stem support, meaning it clips to your handlebars and front wheel axel only. The cheap hardware all around means the handlebar brackets cannot be tightened up enough to support the basket, so with with any amount of cargo weight the basket shifts back and hits the head tube (the part under your handlebars).. Probably going to return it and get one with a stem support (this supports the basket from underneath your handlebars and keeps it from shifting back and hitting your bike).

Too bad because a shallow basket is hard to find for a good price.

Mounted on my 2011 Concours. Had to adjust angle of GPS to minimize glare due to sun, made very easy by multiple adjustments on mount. Installation very easy, used heavy duty velcro between mount and GPS bracket, can slide unit out of bracket. Would recommend to Concours owners

Nicely made, looks almost OEM, and provides a sturdy platform for my iPhone holder. Very nice. One issue with my particular installation is that the iPhone holder interferes a bit with the small tank storage door when everything's in place.
