Shimano BB-ES51 Octalink V2 Bottom Bracket Review
Was replacing an old BB and this one fit like a glove! Fast service and as always Amazon Rocks, big time! There just isn't much to say about this bottom Bracket except it works good and lasts along time. Give it a try, the pricing is good and shipping is fast.

Like another reviewer, my bottom bracket arrived with the spindle in the bottom bracket backwards. If you try installing it that way, the drive side will be a few millimeters toward the bike & the non-drive side will be a few millimeters to far away from the bike. I pulled the bottom bracket apart and switched the spindle to the proper orientation and put it in the bike. IT IS NOT EASY TO FIX THE BOTTOM BRACKET. It worked fine after a lot of messing around to switch the orientation of the spindle. The one star review is a warning that you might be buying a defective product that you may or may not be able to even use. The bottom bracket is also MADE IN CHINA but the bearing and materials seem to be of decent quality. Truvativ is owned by SRAM, and I'm planning to contact them about the problems with the bottom brackets they're selling thru Amazon.
I noticed that the drive side was shorter than the non driveside. Which means the bloody axel was backwards.!!!
Really now !! I was about to buy a larger size bottom bracket because i knew i measured it right but it was short. The rings touched the frame and that is very bad. So i smacked it a few times to pop out the bearings flipped it and reinstalled it. Took 45 mins worth of tapping i was being firm but gentle. Using my hand and a hammer. Reseating the bearings was the main amount of time. But if i didn't already know about that rule. Which is true for any bb. i would've been stuck. Thanks for the bottom bracket lesson reminder.

I use this on my 10 year old Trek mountain bike. The fit was not perfect, had to adjust the front derailleur after installing. Will have to see how it holds up riding in rainy weather through the winter.Best Deals for bottom Bracket - TruVativ Bottom Bracket - LE Square Tapered BB
