I had the local bike shop, (LBS) assemble this beauty so that part was stress free. They will do a free cable adjustment in a couple weeks as well, so I would recommend that newbies like me use a good LBS.
I took it out for a casual 40km ride yesterday, my first on a road bike and I absolutely loved it! I got a couple of compliments on how nice the bike looks and the LBS seemed impressed with the components.
Outstanding customer service from Giantnerd! I had a minor shipping issue, being Canadian, and they were quick to help me out.
So far, so good. This has been an awesome purchase.
