These tires are great! they were a little tight getting them on the 1 3/8 rims but they run very true and have excellent traction. They have the retro look of the '60s that I was looking for but the ability to put them at a higher pressure for better performance.

The quality of these tires is exceptional.

HOWEVER, it is mislabeled on this site. They are actually 37-584 in size, which you will have an aneurysm trying to put this on a standard rim.

The description of these tires is not accurate. They are not 650A size (37 x 590) but are 37 x 584. Too small in diameter, in other words, for the rims on my old British bike.

The inch size marked on these tires is "26 x 1-1/4 1-3/8" They are made for hooked steel rims such as those once used by Schwinn in the 50's & 60's.

The tires themselves are beautiful & would have looked great on my bike, alas.

I would appreciate it if all sellers of 26" (650 size) tires would put the ISO size in their descriptions.

I returned these and bought a pair of Cheng Shin C638 Raised Center Bicycle Tire (Wire Bead, 26" x 1-3/8", Black Wall) in the proper size.

Please note that these tires will NOT fit modern mountain bike 26" rims either, so far as I know.

Look at the size closely its not the standard 26 size I was looking for and did not fit my rims.
